🏀Information on the 2026-2027 BWBA Basketball Season🏀
❓Why does registration open so soon? The league we play in (Great Northwest Basketball League – GNBL) requires us to sign-up for teams early and we need to be prepared with how many teams we have, along with giving adequate time to schedule tournaments.
Tryouts: If there are enough players to form 2 teams for any of the grade levels, players will be notified, and tryouts will be completed per BWBA Handbook. Tryout date(s): TBD.
Practices: Teams for BWBA will meet for practice 1-3 times per week.
Tournaments: Tournament schedules are released by the GNBL as they become available. Generally, the schedules are released in this order: 8th grade girls, 7th grade girls, 6th grade girls, 6th grade boys, 3rd and 4th grade (non-competitive), 4th & 5th grade girls (competitive), 4th and 5th grade boys (competitive), 8th grade boys, and 7th grade boys. Coaches will communicate the tournament schedules to the team, otherwise you can go to gnbl.org to find the schedules once they are posted.
