Tracking Dogs /Thermal drones of the Midwest

Tracking Dogs /Thermal drones of the Midwest Tracking Dogs Thermal Drones of the Midwest is an open public page for fellow hunters to request services.. No one tracker gets special treatment here.

Tracking dogs of the Midwest was established so that the hunters and trackers can have a closer and easier connection in the journey of finding wounded and dead game. We are here to build a self-sufficient community of hunters and trackers so everyone can thrive. Tracking dogs of the Midwest benefits the hunter by making his request for a tracking dog public and so he can be assured that the track

er can walk him through the process in a timely and professional manner. This site also benefits trackers by giving every tracker an open door to work, as we believe no tracker should be limited or restricted by call and message screenings nor subject to an application process. We are all here to help and work with each other. We believe good trackers take the easy to most unpredictable calls and offer quality service in a respectful manner. It is encouraged that the trackers post video clips of their dogs tracking or training, so the public knows what you have to offer. Any post regarding services please specify your location.

We’re not about those “Mickey Mouse Club” groups that make you pay a fee just to be part of the team. For the most part, that’s garbage. This page is meant to be open to everyone—giving every tracker, drone operator, dog handler, and recovery team a fair shot to get their name and face out there, gain experience, and connect with people who need them. No barking rules, no unnecessary orders—just a place where you can operate freely, network, and work together for successful recoveries.

We have some very exciting news and a cautionary tale to tell!

After 7 months in foster care with Paws First and 2 months with another group, Ari / Ariel has been Adopted!

Oh Miss Ari you just have to keep things interesting!

Upon arriving at her new home, Ari bolted out the vehicle door and fled into the wood surrounding her new home, dragging a 6 foot leash behind her. After getting this news, Ari’s long time foster immediately dropped everything and drove to WI in hopes of spotting her. But it was quickly dark and rather than risk pushing Ari off the area, the foster helped the family set up a feeding station and put some familiar items out. The family then contacted our friends at Tracking Dogs / Thermal Drones of the Midwest for help. With their expert help Ari was located safe and sound within a very short time on Sunday. She is none the worse for wear and resting comfortably in her new home.

We are so grateful to Steph from Tracking Dogs for her help. (FB page link in comments). We are glad Ari’s new family was able to work with them and her foster to bring her home safely!

Remember to always tether or crate your new dog for transport and be sure to have the leash in your hand before opening any doors!
