Arrington Racing got some work done in the garage tonight on Emma's fastkart. Axel fully mounted and hubs and tires back on. Found out tonight the sprocket was bent and unusable. Will be heading to the kart shop after work tomorrow to get a new sprocket and a few other miscellaneous parts. I also got the kill switch wired back up and replaced broken wire. Began going over the clutch and starting to get that ready to go back on the motor.

Tomorrow will pick up parts and get them installed and then reinstall the side panel. The kart will then be put off to the side for a few days as I finish going over the ford to get it ready for racing next Thursday and Friday. Then finish the fastkart and help a fellow racing buddy Charlie Hargraves get ready for the big 3hr race in his outlaw.

After next week we will being tackling the build of the mini outlaw. Seeing what all I need to get and where to get it from. Work with other racers in that class on how these cars get put together. So stay tuned as we continue to work hard out in the garage for the few final races this year and start preparing for 2027. Big things coming from the Arrington Racing Garage.

Big shout out to A Perfect Climate for getting our AC repaired today. It was nice to hear them say, we support the track and it's cool to see someone who races out there use our services.

Arrington Racing has some big NEWS! We just picked up a mini outlaw to race at the Indianapolis Speedrome. We have a lot of work ahead of us this winter. As you can see it's just a bare chassi with some parts in the truck. We are excited to say the least. We will definitely be looking for some sponsors to help us get this put together. Looking forward to racing in a new division against some amazing drivers.

Arrington Racing busy in the garage tonight. Was able to track down and get the parts needed to get Emma's kart repaired. Emma helped me remove the side panel to gain access to the back of the kill switch that failed on Saturday. Emma and I found a broken wire for the kill switch that was preventing her from shutting the engine off. Easy fix with a new connector. Then we began removing the engine and the rear axel so we could replace the sprocket hub. During this we found a bad axel bearing and replaced that. We got the new sprocket hub on and began putting the axel back in.

Doesn't seem like we did much, but I take my time explaining to Emma what we are doing and why. Soon she will be able to do this on her own. This time in the garage is not just bonding time for us but giving her an education on the mechanical side of racing.

Next we will work on the clutch and get it cleaned up and gone over. When the chain broke it did a number on the clutch. So we will get it smoothed out to finish off the last 3 races this year and then rebuild it how it needs to be rebuilt.

Emma's next race is September 26th and she can't wait to get back on the track!
