Descend into the Lower Planes, a low flow pole series for the languid pole witch, the sensual shapeshifter, the creatrix who'd rather roll around the pole than climb it.
In this 3-week series, we will explore the twilight space between standing and floorwork through slow, serpentine pathways and sensual transitions. We'll also play with shoulder stands, rolls, and forearm balances around the pole.
While we will cover some technique, this is NOT a technique-heavy series. Instead, we'll weave what we learn into lush, low-to-the-ground combos and build to a choreo that will invite you to listen to your body and let your movement unfold rather than force it.
