Delwood is hosting a Gear Swap before the fall season! Why? Because one player’s “too small” could be another player’s perfect fit. 🙌

We haven’t identified a date for the swap just yet, so stay tuned for that info soon. But for now, rather than tossing your gently used/too small gear (or donating it elsewhere), consider dropping it off at the Delwood fields on Tuesdays or Thursdays in June from 5:30-7:30 pm. This will get it out of your garage and give us a chance to see how much swappable inventory we have up for grabs!

WHAT? Gently used:
- gloves
- bats
- cleats
- helmets
- batting gloves
- catcher's gear
- baseball/softball pants

WHEN? Drop off at the Delwood Fields on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm in June! Then stay tuned for our official Gear Swap date when you can check out what’s available. (You could also bring stuff you’d like to contribute then, too.)

Let’s help every player step onto the field next season ready to play. ⚾✨

*Any unswapped gear after our event will be donated to Gear for Good (playersalliance.org).

In honor of our 70th anniversary, we are bringing back tradition and will hold a Spring Inter-League Delwood tournament at our fields for 8U and 10U, last held in the 1970's. Merchandise available, and concessions will be stocked with all your favorites including BBQ sandwiches. Games start at 9 am.

This is a celebration of a great 26' Spring season, our amazing community, and 100% funded by your fundraising efforts. Come support our players, teams, and coaches, while wearing your favorite old Delwood Jersey. LG!

Delwood doesn’t have a front office or staff. Our community league is 100% volunteer powered!

Every single inning played is thanks to neighbors giving up their time and energy for our kids.

Our MVP leaders! Thank you for the countless hours of mentorship, practice planning, and managing the daily logistics so our players can shine.

📋The Board & Committees:
For ALL the tireless behind-the-scenes work, advocating with the city, balancing the books, fundraising, planning, and executing every single little detail that keeps Delwood running.

🛠️ Facilities:
For the often thankless but critical work of prepping the dirt, mowing the grass, and keeping our fields and facilities safe and clean.

🌭 Concession:
Our game-day heroes who show up early and stay late to make sure everyone is fueled on game day.

📅Schedulers:
For the massive task of solving the "logistics puzzle," organizing every practice and game schedule, and coordinating umps so the season runs smoothly.

🙌 Game Day Volunteers:
For stepping in wherever you’re needed.

And to everyone who gives up their time in big or small ways, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you. You are the backbone of this community.

Because of you, our kids see what it looks like when people show up for one another.
