The Peddler Bicycle Shop - Hyde Park Since 2005 we've been Austin's original "Neighborhood" Bike Shop. Serving Hyde Park and all of Central Austin

We're a local business, dedicated to all things pedal powered! We are a full service shop, dealing with everything from road to mtn, bmx to commuter, and everything in between. All of us at The Peddler are dedicated to customer service and we really try to go the extra mile to ensure that you're able to enjoy your ride. Whether you're in the market for a new bike, need a tune up for your current ride, or you're just looking for some professional and friendly advice, we'd love to meet you. Come on in sometime and chat, or look for us out on the road and the trails! We now have two locations: the old school Hyde Park shop and a new full service shop in Cedar Park 13010 W Parmer Lane suite 500!

Our front lot is being repaved but we have a lot of parking out back and in the neighborhood. But as always: despite poor signage from COA, it is never legal to park in the Duval bike lanes.

As part of our ongoing efforts to increase sustainability, we’ve added a huge suite of Muc-Off products to clean, l**e, and protect your bike. Not only are most of these biodegradable, they also smell fantastic!

We continue to stock PTFE l**es for now because of their great performance at a low price, but consider an eco-friendly option for your next chain l**e!

“I just want to keep doing what I love, and as long as I can get out there, I’m right where I’m supposed to be.” - Chris

For him, riding is about staying connected to the life he loves: early mornings outside, fresh air, and getting back out there.

Sometimes, that’s what matters most.

150,000+ riders and counting.
