Join us tomorrow at 3PM for “Gloves Not Guns,” a boxing show dedicated to raising awareness about gun violence. This special event, themed around Wear Orange for Gun Violence Awareness, aims to highlight the importance of community and safety.
Wear Orange started in 2013 to honor Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old shot and killed in Chicago. Her friends wore orange—the color hunters use for safety—to remember her and raise awareness about gun violence.
Now, every year, people across the country wear orange in early June to honor victims and survivors of gun violence and to call for an end to this epidemic.
Come witness and support the youth in boxing and our mission to promote a safer, violence-free environment. Let’s stand together and make a difference—one punch at a time!
