2/2 on the bluefins this morning, gave them a pretty good shot before taking a little ride to check out some pots. Some good readings in the area, hopefully they stick around!

Great bluefin fishing close to home! Yesterday morning we had 6 bites landing 5 before 830AM!

Got a little crowded so we switched and picked a few mahis off the pots then dropped on some bottom putting a few different fish in the box.

Last week we fished our first tournament of the year. Was definitely a grind as we were strictly bigeye fishing, with only a few around it made for some tough fishing.

Day 1 we had our shot, big bite that ripped pretty good but unfortunately pulled off after we had him 30 ft under the boat up and down.

Each day we managed to catch a few yellowfins by accident, we took some to the scales but didn’t make the cut. That’s tournament fishing though! Better luck in the next one & congrats to our friends that took some money home!

Headed in a different direction yesterday with Charlie & Lauran (who missed the dock pic to dodge the rain) hoping to land on some promising reports from the morning, took a bit but we had a couple shots at them before dark - boxing 5 and releasing a bunch of rats. Beautiful night but not much around in the lights. Next morning on the troll, flat calm and plenty of boats, with only a rat bite we made the decision to top off the box with tiles & one drift is all it took!

We have 1 last minute spot for JJ Fish Week Atlantic City to fish with us
3 days of bigeye fishing!

Had to do some searching around this morning before finding life that had some fish with it. Stuck with it and made our bites count going 4/4 on some good size yellowfin. Best part of the day was we didn’t see any rain until we were half way home!

Back out this morning with a fishy crew, same deal as the past few days - good tuna bite early on that just becomes a pick so the guys opted for some bottom drops. Gave the deep a shot first & doubled up on Barrels, next drift added another Barrel & topped with a few Rosies. Came in a little shallower to find drop & reel tile fishing for both Bluelines & Goldens‼️‼️

Now’s the time to lock in your offshore trips!

Our first yellowfin trip of the year & hooked our first fish as I was setting our long out. Thought it would be all out from there but we just picked at them in the fog dodging other boats ending up 6/7. Still had excellent signs of life so hopeful they will hang around!

Gave the bluefins a shot yesterday, quick bite for us on a Sterling Tackle wide tracker. After we boated the fish we had about 40 friends around us so we picked up and ran for the tiles. Few drifts & filled up the box with Blue lines & Goldens 👊
