I encourage everyone in the New Jersey surfing community and all around the world donate to this Legend . his films he has made with Ben gravy and all the other local Legends have inspired many New Jersey Surfers to live that life of stoke . he's an awesome filmmaker and that total Legend of a guy. please help support him and his family in this hard time get well soon my brother from all of us at Hang Ten surf School!

It is with a very heavy heart that I’m sharing this news today, but last Friday our dear friend sustained a potentially life changing injury while diving into a lake in the Poconos. He suffered a C7 burst fraction & has been in the hospital starting his recovery process. He’s currently paralyzed from the chest down and his future is uncertain. We’re hopeful that Makki will gain the strength he needs to make a recovery, but right now he needs the help & support of his friends.
