ZOMBIES WIN! (The Audit is In)

We just wrapped our first Atlanta Zombies v Survivors team challenge (January 31st, 2026), and things got... technical. After a deep-dive audit triggered by some sharp-eyed feedback from the field, we have an official scoring correction to announce.

The Correction:
A massive shout-out to bufordt, who went on an epic raid on the final rideable day before the rain. His data didn't seem to move the needle at the time, but he knew the math didn't add up.

Our audit found two "first-event" bugs:

The Double Agent: One player was accidentally counted on both teams (sorry, Survivors!).

The Unit Glitch: A discrepancy between iOS (feet) and Android (meters) led to some inflated scores on the leaderboard.

The Final (Authoritative) Score:
Using raw GPS coordinates as the source of truth, the final win belongs to Team ZOMBIES:

ZOMBIES: 85.22 sq mi (220.72 km²)

SURVIVORS: 81.81 sq mi (211.88 km²)

The MVP: We are officially awarding bufordt a 2-Year RAM Raid Pro Membership for his incredible effort in the final hours and for being our honorary "Bug Hunter." His detailed report helped us fix these issues for all future events.

The leaderboard has been updated. To the Survivors: you fought hard, but the Zombies took more territory.

The gauntlet is thrown. Here is your mission, if you choose to accept it.

I'm attempting to capture all the good riding areas in Florida, currently focusing on South Florida.
Once I claim a territory, another player can steal it by riding through it.

Likewise, you can claim fresh territory by laying down your own route, and then I can attempt to steal your territory.

The game runs through March 16, 2026, and the winner is whoever is left with the most territory on the board.

You can join this RAM Raid using the QR code or the event code shown.

Want to have even more fun on the South Carolina Adventure Route (SCAR) this labor day weekend?

Both the RAM Rally Tracker and the SCAR15 practice mode are free to install and use.

You will earn points as you ride the SCAR just like you would if riding in an actual RAM Rally.

Please Note: The waypoints on the Upstate RAM Rally on October 21st are entirely different than those of the SCAR.

Use practice code 'SCAR15' within the RAM Rally Tracker app.
