You can blow off steam, relax, and have fun, all while deepening your resources in both the physical realm and the mental/emotional realm. f all ages and abilities to learn martial arts and receive all the benefits taekwondo has to offer: Fitness, self-defense, discipline, and self-esteem. Everything we do is in relation to the Tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. These are the values we aspire to and work to instill in our students. Classes are three times a week, with rank promotional testings being offered every two months to eligible students. The curriculum includes forms, where one learns a set pattern of moves and techniques according to rank, in addition to specific self-defense curriculum at each rank. Intermediate and advanced students also work on board breaks and light contact sparring with protective gear. American TaeKwonDo foundationBlue Ridge Taekwondo is a member of the American Taekwondo Foundation (ATF) based in Montgomery, Alabama. We have a tightknit community of ATF schools in Western NC, as well as a large ATF family throughout the nation. We encourage active participation in ATF tournaments and national tournaments.

Escape the Dojo Ninja Night (Parents Night Out) was SO MUCH FUN!!

A wonderful community of kids, having fun together, learning teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills while working together to solve the escape room riddles.

If I were to bet, I would guess you have never heard of Hapkido.
Am I right?

Hapkido is an incredible art for self defense, and is designed for a smaller person to gain leverage against a bigger attacker.

Imagine feeling confident when you walked out of the grocery store at night.
Imagine knowing you have the skills to defend yourself, skills that WORK.

Ideally, you will never need to use it. You will train with us to improve your confidence, make lasting friendships, and get a workout in in a fun way.

But, if you need it, you'll have it, too.

One of our BRTKD community members has a young kitty who needs surgery, and they could use a little help. ❤️🐾
