A great way to end the year, this squad is moving forward in all the best ways. Something I’ve always always appreciated and am constantly reminded of, not only is Shaolin Kung Fu of Asheville an incredible
place to train and cultivate yourself, it is also filled with amazing and incredible humans. We appreciate you all and congrats again on the amazing test!

Horse stance isn’t my favorite element of training Kung Fu. But it is a fundamental part of training at Shaolin and provides a number of benefits that I have experienced over the years.
1. Learn to separate pain from injury. It may suck like you’re dying but it won’t kill you. Just make you wish you were doing anything else.
2. Teach you focus and discipline. Whether it’s focusing on the pain or focusing on anything else to take your mind off the pain. Either way you’re building discipline. Whatever annoying thing that is happening to you in the outside world, it probably beats the pain the horse stance brings.
3. Strength. Physical and mental- both are built by training the horse.
Come by and try us out and build your internal and external strength!

Thank you all so much to the folks who came and helped us move today!
We’ll still be finishing strong at the old space at 619 Haywood for the rest of the month. We won’t have any lapse in class time though - starting Monday November 3rd, we’ll be punching and kicking at 802 Fairview Road. We’re so excited for this huge change.

Greetings Shaolin Friends and Family,
We are MOVING!
We love and will miss West Asheville, but the time has come to move on to Bigger and Better things.
We will be relocating to ***802 Fairview Road, Asheville, NC 28803***. It’s about 8 minutes from the current West Asheville location.
The slot is clean and safe and huge and has a ton of parking. There are some other amazing potential features we will explain once we’re settled.
The plan is to move everything over on ***October 25!!! We will start at 8am***. If you have time and availability, please come out and give us a hand. We would love to get as many people there as possible and knock it out quick.

Some other upcoming news:
1. Hoodies on sale soon!
2. End of the Year Deal - From now until Jan. 1st, if you bring in a new student and they sign on, both you and the new student will both receive a 50% discount on that month’s tuition!
3. We will be looking to set up a belt test before the end of the year. If you think you are close, it is time to buckle down and get ready.
