I just played golf at Muni as I do 4-5 days a week. Last Feb. I made my first hole in one after playing for 4 decades, well today on number 15 back nine with a # 3 shot saver,hole in one. They had just airated and the sand was thick.
second one in a year and a half.

Cody Glover and I are going to work on his Go Dan (5th) degree Black Belt, I want him to learn some of our traditional Kata, These are legitimate Shotokan Kata that should be passed on through the years, it will give Cody and his students more depth.

Just did a Weapons seminar in Hendersonville, I taught the Bo, Samurai Sword. Sai, Tonfa, and Nun Chuka, The students are black belts so they were easy to teach and receptive,, we covered a lot of techniques. I taught Rohi open hand kata. They filmed the seminar and will work on Shotokan and Sh*to Ryu. I have a black belt in 4 different styles so I appreciate Kevin Fakoury for broadening his horizons. because traditionally Tae Kwon Do don't teach weaponry it just adds another aspect of martial arts, I've been teaching karate for 45 years. I truly enjoyed teaching after a 2 year absence. Thank You Sensei Fakoury.

some karate friends and I were talking and we thought we could have a karate tournament in march, that would be fun.

Old blood and guts, yep, every black belt I promoted have bled at one time or the other. It was required, but you did earn the black belt.

Well, I am happy. Grassy Branch has graciously agreed to let us have the gym on March 28th for our karate tournament. It has an intercom system and plenty of room and parking. Thank Yo Rick Zehr. God Bless

I just got back from Kevin Fakhoury's school. Tori, Kevin, and I had a battle royal. I have a sore nose from Kevin and a bruised ribs compliments of Tori. I think we need to lighten up before someone gets wounded badly, it will all work out. All three of us believe in what we do, so what is a few bruised. At my school a bruise represents a badge of honor. Thanks Guys

Less than 2 weeks away. Folks are coming from Greenville, Brevard, Hendersonville, Western Carolina University, Winston Salem, Valdese, Newlands, Burnsville, Marion, all over the area.The awards are beautiful and the divisions are many, I promise a great day of fun and knowledge. All techniques 1 point, light contact to the head and medium contact to the body. we are careful to use controlled technique.
