Weekend race recap,
We started at Deming Speedway with qualifying and 2nd in our session, along with a solid 4-2 run in our heat race. We were 2nd in points and with a redraw of 4 started 3rd in the A-main. We fell back to 4th but found the high side pretty early and got around 3rd and eventually 2nd. It was yellow after yellow and I was on the top the entire time. After an open red I was able to stick with the leader on the restart and with just 3 laps left got a run on the High side to take the lead and win at Deming Speedway.
We packed up our PMP due to issues with the hyper car and made our trip down to Sunset Speedway. Due to Unfortunate events, we were held up and made it 20 minutes before the heat race. we managed to throw the car together and go 3-1 in the heat race just barely hanging on. In the A-Main we went Wire to wire with a close call from our buddies slowly gaining on us Ethan McFarland Racing.
It was an eventful weekend for us and will find the issue to get back out for Friday!

What a turn of events, after last night we had motor issues, so we loaded up the PMP and started our journey to sunset speedway. Around halfway there we noticed a vibration and stopped to check it out. We found nothing so kept chugging along with it and about 5 miles later our LR truck tire exploded and destroyed the fender along with it. At that point we weren't sure if we were going to make it. We got to les shwab around 1:30 and stayed there until 4:00. At this point we were pretty sure we were not able to go until some friends called and said we should. We are currently on our way down and should hopefully make it before heats.

we started off the night with qualifying and went quick time in our session and 2nd overall.
Jaxon Burnett Racing was able to show something nobody was ready for his first time out in a micro. He went 6th quick in his session and 10th overall out of 27 cars.
I started 4th in heat 2 and got out to 2nd in the first lap I was running the high side and making it work catching 1st and stealing the win with 4 to go. Jaxon once again surprised everyone and was ripping the high side in his heat like a veteran and held off 3rd for a while before making a mistake and letting it go.
I was 2 in points and Jaxon was 10th. but with a 4-car invert I was 3rd and he was still 10th. I immediately went 3 wide for the lead but then a red came out. After that I tried again and made it stick getting up to second and side by side for first, unfortunately though 1st made a mistake and I was right behind and fell down to 4th, I would stay there the majority of the race but during lap traffic I got around 3rd and on that same lap second had blown a motor. with a restart I was in 2nd but there was a lap car in between me and 1st, I got around them quickly and started ripping the lip before another caution came out with 6 to go. I was on the high side they were on the low. he was faster in 1&2 but I would make it up in 3&4. after the dust settled I finished p2 after an excellent race. congrats to Hill Racing for the win and a fun battle!
