Back on the mighty Rock for a afternoon trip with Paul. Picked him up over at the dirty turtle 🐢 and hit the lake

We did a mixture of drop shots, jigging with ice jigs , and Deadsticks. Catching a mixture of Crappies, Bluegills, Perch, Walleye, and we caught ONE sheapshead

Redworms, large fatheads, and plastics caught all of our fish

The fish have been stacked up in good numbers holding on structure and roaming on the feed. When they are roaming and on the feed one of the best things you can do is sit in their “route” and wait for them to come through

The water temperature has been hovering around 53-55 in the mornings and can warm up depending on day to 57-59 in the afternoon

Want to know one of my favorite 1-2 punch go to jigs for panfish?

All times of year I am chasing panfish and walleyes. And when those panfish can get picky downsizing your presentation can make all the difference!

That’s why I choose the Your Bobbers Down, Inc tungsten ice jigs. They NEVER get put away and always part of my arsenal. In the boat or on the ice!

I fish a lot of timber at many depths. Less than 5 foot all the way up to 20-25 foot of water. Which is great with the different sizes of ice jigs they offer

My go to punch is a Ladybug tungsten ice jig tipped with redworms or their little atom plastic they offer as well. KILLER 1-2 PUNCH

As you can tell the crappie didn’t think twice about what they were looking at! Down the throat!

We catch occasional walleye on them too!

Fun morning out there with my good buddy since pretty much kindergarten 💥💥

Once we hit enough for a meal we decided to throw the rest back

Minnows and worms both worked great up shallow in stumps

Dead sticks tipped with minnows and jigging minnows/ crawlers produced majority of our fish

The bite has been great!

A little bit of everything came to play in the great weather. The wind settled down giving us the whole lake to play with

7 total legal walleyes including many shorts, great chunky perch, a couple big smallies, whitebass, and caught the exclusive sheapshead! It’s been a few weeks since we have actually boated one
