What a great morning out on the mighty Castle Rock 🔥🔥 Two kiddos with their Dad for a gifted Father’s Day fishing trip! I smell a fish fry in the near future, maybe some fish tacos!

A lot of great conversations and some good jokes cracked today that may roll into some trips!

I appreciate every single one of you that join me in my boat! We try to make things as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Even when the fishing is slow! What I do is not possible without any of you. Thank you!!

Doug , Gary, and Steve tackled the wind on the mighty Castle Rock today !

Doug and Gary have been out with me before and found a good friend Steve to take along from their night out playing horseshoe. Steve hasn’t fished in roughly 20 plus years and wanted to give it a go!

We have been doing really good with the crappies this past week and we hit the switch to get after the walleyes this time around. Finding a couple legals with some live bait setups right away this morning. Switching later to some trolling picking up a couple more legals, perch, and a nice northern pike coming in at just under 34”

Ended the day with many species ! That’s one thing about this Flowage… you never know what’s gonna bite your line! Walleyes, whitebass, perch, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and of course some sheapshead

Father and Son dynamic duo from Nebraska tackled the mighty Castle Rock

They are up visiting the Dells area and wanted to get out for a fishing trip. While mom and sister went and did a little bit of shopping!

Starting off in an area with a bunch of bites and some crappies topside right away and then they quickly turned off. Making some adjustments to targeting depth and location helped us get more crappies topside. Breaking Personal Best for each of them in the crappie category with the biggest coming in at 13.75”!

Missing quite a few , but that’s fishing! Plus those crappie mouths are so thin and can pop off easily. Still ended with a great pile!

Calling it early this morning as some pop up storms were approaching the area. Safety is very important to me when you are on the boat and there’s no need for something to happen if it can be prevented!

This is a very fun bite, book your next fishing adventure today!

Out with Rebecca and Brandon on the Castle Rock!

They joined me from a benefit giveaway for our friend that unexpectedly got cancer. She’s doing great now!

We started off with some walleye fishing and finding out they were a little moody for us. Shorts were aggressive but finding some larger legal fish was a struggle. Flipped the switch to some crappies and all they wanted to do was chase the baits around until they gave us a bite window. Slip bobbers tipped with minnows worked well landing crappies topside. When they hit it, they took that bobber straight down!

Everything was caught and released today to be caught again!
