The success of that team in USSSA, USGF, and AYSA laid the foundation for the softball family we have today. We currently have a 16U(our OG 10u team), two 12U teams, and two 10U teams. We are based out of Elkton, TN / Ardmore, AL and mostly play in the North Alabama and Southern Tennessee area. It is with great support from our local communities and parents, and the dedication of our coaches that
we have grown to the size we are today. The primary goal of our organization is to foster the love of the game and to insure that your athlete is prepared for the immediate next level: High School Softball. As our teams age up, that goal and focus changes to the collegiate level and to the goals of the individual athlete. Your 8,10, or even 12 year old should not be limited to 'softball only' year around and should be allowed to participate in other sports. We support this by working with you, especially in the fall and winter periods, around basketball, volleyball, etc. Many “elite” organizations have the primary goal of putting the absolute best team possible on the field. While we share this goal, we do not believe in burning out your child to achieve this outcome for the organization. We welcome athletes that have experienced this burnout to come play with us and regain your love for the game by being allowed to have fun on the field again! We also do not use 'pick up players' unless we have too many injuries or illnesses to field a team. We are not a 'set fee' or a 'monthly dues' paying organization. Our coaches are not paid. We believe that the love of the game and the love of our kids is enough to get us where we need to be. We are 'paid' by helping our local softball communities and school programs through the preparation of our athletes. The monetary costs to the parents is determined by the uniforms, accessories, and the number of tournaments the team plays in each season. Of course most, if not all of these expenses, are covered by our team’s fundraisers. While most of our teams start at C class with USSSA Alabama in the fall, many progress to B level and open class for spring. Our 16u and one of our 10u teams are currently classified as B class. To obtain this level for most players, you need more than team practices only. We highly recommend private pitching, catching, and/or hitting lessons depending on your athlete's primary position. We can also help you with finding instructors that are already familiar with our organization and local to the area. Most outdoor practices are in Elkton TN, or Ardmore AL. Several coaches have access to indoor hitting areas in and around Ardmore. However, don’t let long distance deter you. Let us know and we can work together to make it happen regardless.
