A reminder that our Competition Centers in Ohio and Alabama will be REOPENING ON SEPT. 1!

Each facility is open to the public every week, featuring 80 points of indoor electronic targets for air rifle or air pistol use. Adults and juniors welcome!

Bring your own equipment or use ours! Come for practice, simulate competition or simply to try something new. Our staff members are on hand to ensure safety and to answer all your questions.

Get ready to get back to the line with the first match of the season!

THEY'RE BACK!

After a short break, our Monthly Matches are set to return to the Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center in Anniston, Ala., and the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center in Port Clinton, Ohio, in September!

Both facilities are equipped with indoor electronic target air ranges and feature events for adults and juniors like:
- Air Rifle 3x20
- 60 Shot Air Rifle
- 60 Shot Air Pistol

Those competing in Alabama will also have the chance to take part in a special 3x20 Smallbore Match, held at our CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park!

No matter your experience level, these matches are a great way to get started in competition or to hone your competitive skills on the range. We hope you'll join us!

Our Junior Rifle Club welcomes youth aged 12 and older, meeting every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., with an optional additional hour for range practice. Participants not only develop marksmanship skills but also gain important life lessons, including discipline, focus, responsibility, and goal setting. Here is a great regional opportunity to shoot in multiple "LEG" matches.

Nebraska to Host Multiple CMP EIC “LEG” Matches at Weeping Water Gun Club on September 26

Competitive pistol and air gun athletes are invited to compete in a full day of CMP Excellence-in-Competition (EIC) “LEG” events on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Weeping Water Gun Club in Weeping Water, Neb.

Conveniently located approximately 30 miles east of Lincoln on Highway 34 and 30 miles south of Omaha on Highway 50, the event offers competitors the opportunity to earn valuable EIC points in multiple disciplines throughout the day.

The match schedule includes:
8:30 a.m. – CMP EIC “LEG” Service Pistol
9:30 a.m. – CMP EIC “LEG” .38 Revolver
10:30 a.m. – CMP EIC “LEG” .22 Pistol
11:30 a.m. (or earlier, as scheduling permits) – CMP Air Pistol EIC “LEG”
Following Air Pistol – CMP Air Rifle EIC “LEG”

With five EIC opportunities scheduled in a single day, the Nebraska event provides competitors with an excellent chance to expand their match experience while working toward Distinguished status.
