Only two dates remain for the 2026 In-Person 1911 Sales in Alabama: Friday, November 13 and Friday, December 11!

Sales run 8am-2pm at CMP’s 1911 Facility, 1800 Roberts Drive in Anniston. Browse and hand-pick your own genuine U.S. military-issued M1911A1, inspected and test fired. Only 15-20 people are allowed in the store at a time, and CMP Armorers and Customer Service Representatives will be on hand to answer questions.

Heads up: starting January 1, the new limit for surplus 1911 pistols is two (2) pistols per year, per customer. This limit also applies to new customers.

Bring the required documents: proof of U.S. citizenship and age, membership in a CMP-affiliated organization, a copy of your valid driver’s license, state application documents (if applicable), and FFL shipping details. Inventory is limited to available stock.

Calling junior shooters, schools and clubs! The 2026 Gary Anderson Invitational will take place November 13–14 at the Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center in Anniston.

Compete in a sanctioned CMP Cup Match featuring three-position air r***e events in both Sporter and Precision classes.

Challenged Athletes Foundation grants: Apply for a Sport Expense Grant of up to $1,500 or an Adaptive Equipment Grant of up to $3,500. All ages and levels are welcome, and applications close November 13. Disabled military veterans can also apply year-round through Operation Rebound.
