As a Hype Ryde Indoor Cycle instructor, you’ll lead a class through a high-energy, sweaty party on a bike choreographed to you favorite adrenaline-pumping music. It’s up to you to set the playlist, push your class, and have an addictive personality our members love to follow.

Hype Ryde is an inclusive, inspiring, low-impact/high-intensity cycling experience for all ages and body types. We are looking for an inspiring and positive instructor with a great play-list to motivate participants for 30-60 minute classes. As your Ryder base grows, and the seats begin to fill, so will your income opportunity.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
**Be willing to assist with keeping the studio clean and always looking top notch**
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service: including but not limited to assistance with bike set up, client engagement before, during, and after class, etc.
• Arrive 15 minutes before class and stay until the last client leaves the common area.
• Teach up to 10 classes/week
• Be a Brand Ambassador
• Create playlists following our 12 song sequence to perform in your scheduled classes
• Must follow our best practices as outlined in the Hype Ryde Training Manual
• Promote your classes on social media at least 3 times per week
• Social media promotions and client engagement to build your class following.
• Participate in studio promotions: televised, print, social media, web, and in-studio appearances.
• Post/Market/Manage social media to develop a following
• Notify studio manager in the case of any planned or unplanned absence, and work with management to secure substitution arrangements.
• Make sure all new riders are introduced to the bike and are correctly adjusted on their bike
• Take at least 2 classes a month at your studio with other Hype Ryde Instructors
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
Job Requirements and Skills:
***Previous Indoor Cycling Experience Is NOT Mandatory***
• Ability to lead with confidence
• Must have passion for health, wellness and fitness
• Ability to count to the music and distinguish beats
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
• Must be Passionate + Motivated + Inspiring.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times + treat all colleagues and clients with respect.
• Must be able to pass audition and Hype Ryde 4-day boot camp in order to teach at Hype Ryde Studio
• Must have strong communication skills
• Able to command up to a 20-person class and create an awesome experience
• Musicality, rhythm and ability to ride to the beat
Certifications:
*Training opportunities will be provided at instructor’s expense. Incentive programs will be offered to off-set cost of training*
• CPR/AED Certified and up to date yearly.
Studio:
• Must realize and fully understand this is a startup Studio and there will be a ramp up time to create a following for Studio as well as each of you.
• Please steer traffic to the lobby so the facility manager can clean bikes after clients have left the building.
• Staff meetings will be held every other Saturday (or when all schedules align) after first class to discuss client issues, marketing, Studio ideas etc., please make sure you are on a one/one name basis with all clients and continue to ask them what their weekly goals are.
Commission:
**Enjoy market-leading instructor pay rates that escalate as your paid class size increases**
• Hype Ryde is more than willing to put together a commission plan based on the number of clients YOU bring into the Studio based off YOUR efforts to market yourself and your classes after first 90 days.
