Here we go again! Getting ready to launch the Mini for testing and initial sailing.

We had a great first sail in September, now time to get back out on the water. Thanks to everyone who helped get the boat ready today!

Quantum Sails Mini 6.50 solo sailors meeting up at the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe race village!

Gildas Dubois designed the sails for the newest Mini 6.50 prototype (PGN Ocean Racing) in France and has raced his own boat the past few seasons.

finished the 2025 Mini Transat 10th and first female!

Calliste ANTOINE finished the 2025 Mini Transat and works for Quantum Sails.

Awesome meeting up and seeing other sailors who are getting ready to cross the ocean with Quantum Sails on board.

After sailing the Mini for the first time we had to head back to the US. Since then the boat has been back in the yard getting worked on and finished up.

Work included painting the rudders, finishing some small details for commissioning, and improvements since the first test sail.

Time to get back on the water soon!

Met some pretty cool sailors at the Annapolis Sailboat Show this past weekend. Great time meeting Brian and Karin from Sailing SV Delos who are also partnering with Quantum Sails. Check them out and follow their adventures as they prepare to launch their new custom aluminum cruising catamaran! Join over 1 million other subscribers on their YouTube channel.

Taking a Moment to Appreciate the Journey: Community, Momentum, and Looking Ahead

After spending the past week at the Annapolis Sailboat Show, I've been reminded just how grateful I am for the sailing community back home. And that gratitude goes well beyond the support I've received for this campaign. THANK YOU!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Annapolis Sailboat Show! 🇺🇸 ⛵️🤝👋🦀

What an incredible few days reconnecting with old friends, meeting new supporters, and sharing the journey toward the 2027 Mini Transat.

It is events like this that remind me just how fortunate I am to have support for the veteran and sailing communities, so I would like to include some shout outs here:

-Thank you US Patriot Sailing and its director Peter Quinn (middle) for supporting the veteran community by bringing us together through sailing. This organization is the why behind my campaign, with the mission to increase support for the team and help more veterans transition to civilian life.

-Thank you Ronnie Simpson, fellow Marine veteran and U.S. Patriot Sailing teammate, for hosting us on your Class40. It was an excellent platform to spread awareness about this organization. Give him a follow as he prepares to race his boat solo, nonstop around the world in the Global Solo Challenge

Leading up to this show, I spent a few days helping team team with boat maintenance projects on the Farr 40 as it was recently launched. There is also a GP26 with the Annapolis team (it’s for sale!)

Launching the Boat (Part 3): This was a team effort with help from some incredible sailors. Between the designer, rigger, past Mini Transat podium finisher, and , we were able to get the boat in the water and ready to sail quickly. There is a lot that goes into setting up a new boat like this!
