We had a 20 mile social ride this morning, Shirley was learning a new bike. .. And her nickname became "Shiftless Shirley " until she made her fingers remember to "thumb her nose at the hills".
Dad and I circled back to buy some good apples and fill all 4 water bottles with fresh cider.
Chris had been taking us to good local places to eat.

Lew and Mike Meyer comparing beards... haven't shaved since we left Oceanside. We didn't have a chance to visit much on Father's Day so we caught up the next morning. Kevin Walsh is tinkering with the chain on Lew's spare bike... his Cannondale has a wobble when Lew gets above 40 mph (!)
