Boy what a season for the books. This was my first year back in over 3 years. There were times I thought I wouldn’t ever be back. It wasn’t an easy season by any means, but it was definitely the best season I’ve ever had. Both my boys helped deckhand, one of my best friends(Jeff Garcie), ran his boat a long side me, and I had some amazing days on the water with some awesome folks. I even got to take out a friend I served with that I hadn’t seen in 10 years. I’m sad the season is over but it’s time to give my body a break and go moose hunting. 😂 I can’t wait to do it all over again next year.

If you’re disappointed you didn’t go fishing in Alaska this year, there’s always 2027. Give us a call we’re filling the books for next year already.

We are back!!!! The battle with cancer and post chemo put me on my heels for a while. I’m finally back to where I was physically and mentally. I’ll be running charters again in 2026. From Sitka, Ak to Elizabeth City, NC, to Astoria, OR and back to Alaska. It’s been a wild ride to say the least. You’ve been there for good times and the bad. Even during my darkest days you brought the light to my life and showed me what greatness there is to live for. You my dear are the rock that cannot be broken for our family. Thank you for being my wife, thank you for never giving up on me, thank you for being my true love. Happy 15 year anniversary my lovely wife. Here’s to many more.

Great friendships are hard to find. This fella and I have been friends since grade school. From little league, to high school baseball, to firefighting and now fishing in Alaska. Sean has been like a brother from another mother. I was lucky this year to take his son on his first offshore fishing trip. We had a great time filling the freezer full of some of the best table fare out there. Thanks for the fun this time this summer Sean.

The Runnamuck has a new home. She was a little too big for this new life after cancer. We decided to pick up a smaller(slightly smaller) boat for family and friend adventures. The trip this spring to go pick up the boat in Haines, Ak was fun. A great friend of mine joined me on a 2000 mile round trip trek to bring her home. There will be more pictures to come of all the fish landed this summer. The BOONDOGGLE is one hell of a fishy boat
