Researchers just followed 488,765 people for up to 32 years, and the ones with a strong sense of purpose died at roughly a 24% lower rate. Low purpose meant about 32% higher risk.
Not purpose like "climb Everest." Purpose like grandkids, a garden, a team that counts on you, a comeback you've decided to make.
Here's why we care as your coaches: part of that effect exists because people with a reason take better care of themselves. The why drives the what. When your reason is clear, the workouts happen, the vegetables happen, the sleep happens.
