🥋❤️ A BIG DAY FOR KAITLIN & MARSHALL LEWIS! ❤️🥋

We're incredibly proud of Kaitlin Lewis and Marshall Lewis for stepping onto the mats at the AGF Missouri State Championships today.

Twenty months ago, Kaitlin wasn't sure she could do Jiu Jitsu. Today, she faced her fears, trusted her training, executed her game plan, and earned the bronze spot on the podium in her very first tournament! 🏆 🥉

Marshall Lewis also put on a great performance, winning his opening match before battling through two tough matches after being moved into the Adult division from the Masters division. Once again, he proved that age is just a number and that experience, grit, and determination can compete with anyone.

What makes Kaitlin's accomplishment even more special is that she chose to compete alongside her daughters, sharing the tournament experience as a family and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Today wasn't just about medals and wins. It was about courage, growth, and stepping outside your comfort zone.

Congratulations, Kaitlin and Marshall! Thank you for representing Strategic BJJ with heart, perseverance, and an incredible attitude. We're proud of both of you! ❤️🥋

🥊🔥 WHAT A DAY FOR OUR KICKBOXING/MMA TEAM AT STRATEGIC! 🔥🥊

We couldn't be more proud of our athletes this weekend at the IKF Tournament!

🏆 Tyrone Foster put on an absolute clinic, going 2-0 on the day and bringing home GOLD! Tyrone showcased incredible skill, composure, and determination in both of his matches. From start to finish, he looked sharp, confident, and in control.

🥈 Brayden Georgeoff had an outstanding performance as well, earning SILVER after going 1-1 on the day. Brayden dominated his first match and battled hard against a tough opponent in the finals. His heart, grit, and willingness to step into the arena are what martial arts is all about.

As a team, we finished the day 3-1 overall, but the medals only tell part of the story.

What makes us most proud is seeing our athletes grow, make new friends, represent Strategic BJJ with class, and confidently execute the techniques they've worked so hard to develop in training.

Wins are great.Medals are awesome.But watching our students grow into strong, respectful, courageous martial artists is what it's really all about.

This weekend, Tyrone Foster will also be representing Strategic BJJ at the IKF Tournament!

Competition isn’t just about wins and losses. It’s about showing up, pushing through nerves, trusting your training, and having the courage to perform when it matters most. Every round, every drill, and every hard practice leads to opportunities like this.

🥊🥋 BIG WEEKEND AHEAD FOR STRATEGIC BJJ! 🥋🥊

This weekend, three of our athletes are stepping up to test themselves, and we couldn’t be more proud.

🔥 Brayden Georgeoff will be competing in an IKF Kickboxing match in St. Charles, stepping into the ring and putting his hard work, discipline, and training on display.

🥋 Marshall Lewis will be competing at AGF St. Louis, continuing to challenge himself against tough competition and representing Strategic BJJ on the tournament mats.

⭐ And making this weekend even more special, Kaitlin Lewis will be competing in her very first Jiu Jitsu tournament at AGF St. Louis!

Anyone who has ever competed knows that the first tournament is a huge milestone. It takes courage to sign up, step onto unfamiliar mats, and test yourself in front of a crowd. Win or lose, that first step is something nobody can take away from you. We’re incredibly proud of Kaitlin for having the courage to put herself out there and embrace the challenge.

Competition isn’t about being fearless. It’s about moving forward despite the nerves, trusting your training, and learning from the experience.
