Just a reminder for everyone coming to the Sherman Reservoir tournament September 26–27 — Trade Winds Marina has lodging available right at the tournament site.

🏕️ Cabins: $104.98/night including tax
🚐 RV Pads: $33.15/night including tax

We’ll be holding the morning meeting and weigh-in at Trade Winds Marina, so staying there makes things about as convenient as it gets.

If you still need a place to stay, get ahold of Trade Winds Marina and get something reserved!

FRIENDLY REMINDER

This coming Sunday at midnight SHERMAN goes off limits! No pre-fishing, no boating, no on the water activities are allowed Monday-Friday leading up to the tournament weekend. However, as always, boat safety and mechanical checks are allowed on the water as long as the acting tournament director is present.

TOURNAMENT MORNING:
Our morning registration, rules meeting, and weigh-in will both take place at Trade Winds Marina. They will be open if you need to grab anything from the store.

Anglers can either launch first and drive their boats over to the marina for registration / morning meeting, or attend the meeting at the marina and then drive to ramp and launch there boat.

Trade Winds is going out of their way to accommodate our anglers for this coming tournament weekend. They currently have:

We’re excited to announce **Trade Winds Marina** as a sponsor for our September 26–27 Silted Water Bass Tournament Trail event at Sherman Reservoir!

Trade Winds is going out of their way to accommodate our anglers for tournament weekend. They currently have:

**Tournament Logistics:**
Our morning registration, rules meeting and weigh-in will both take place at Trade Winds Marina. The boat ramp is located south of the marina and will be marked on the map.

Anglers can either launch first and drive their boats over to the marina for the morning meeting, or attend the meeting at the marina and then head south to launch.

A huge thank you to Trade Winds — **they are opening the marina both tournament days specifically for us.** They’ll be open in time for our morning rules meeting and remain open through weigh-in both days.

The Hays boys have their annual big bass challenge scheduled for this coming weekend!

If you're free come and fish it! They'd love to have ya!

The 26th annual Big Bass Challenge is this Saturday September 12th at Wilson reservoir. If you missed the early entry you can still enter the morning of the tournament. Marine Specialty, LLC is our title sponsor this year. If you are in the market for a new or used boat, service work, or any boating accessories please check them out online or in person just south of I70 at the Wilson exit.

We will have the power hours with extra payback again this year. One special hour first place will be a Lowrance HDS 7 along with cash. The overall big bass this year will win a new trolling motor along with cash. We will have multiple door prizes along with a Lowrance HDS 9 and certificates towards a new Vexus after the tournament. We also have a cash prize for the smallest legal fish and the largest smallmouth bass caught.

Team's SIX-SEVEN and WHITETAIL PROPERTIES Share 2026's Kansas State Champion Title!!

After tallying up all the derby points and taking into consideration the rule books official tie breaker, we still ended up with a 2-way tie for the 2026 Kansas State Champion title! It was an extremely tight and exciting race only two points separated the top 4 teams!
