One of the benefits of our organizations membership, is the ability to apply for rank through The World Kuo Shu Federation (TWKSF). Many of our black belts have earned their various Tuan’s (degree’s) through the TWKSF over the years. The highest rank that can be earned through the TWKSF is the 10th Tuan. Grandmaster Huang presented Senior Grandmaster Lee his 10th Tuan in 2012 (pictured above), and Grandmaster Buckley earned his 10th Tuan at this past tournament in July (pictured below).

Great job this weekend to IBFDA member organization, East West Kung Fu, for doing a fantastic job at this weekends US International Kuo Shu Championship Tournament! Thank you Grandmaster Huang, Master Huang and the USKSF for hosting such an incredible event for the past 37 years!

Our IBFDA Spring 2026 tournament was a tremendous success thanks to so many! We appreciate all of our judges and volunteers who make the event possible. To all of our competitors, we’re so proud of your efforts. And a special thank you to Ms. Mannion, our tournament director for the last sixteen years, for constantly working to improve the quality and efficiency of the event every time.
