The Western Aikido Association had a wonderful weekend of Aikido training, connection, and shared history. Our organization is guided by Robert Frager Shihan and Edward Frager Sensei, whose leadership continues to inspire all of us.

We trained hard on the mat, then had the rare privilege of hearing stories and memories from Robert Frager Shihan—reflections from the early days in Japan, including experiences with many remarkable figures and Morihei Ueshiba himself.

The weekend concluded with Kurt delivering an excellent test, a fitting end to a meaningful seminar weekend.

Deep gratitude for the training, the tradition, and the community.
