Attention Maples, Summer Lifting sessions begin Monday, June 8th.

Coaches don't play favorites- they play who they can trust. From the outside it might look personal, but inside the weight room, gym, pool, arena, or outside on the court, field, course, track it's about consistency. Who shows up the same every day? Who listens, competes and does their job w/o needing to be reminded? That's who earns the minutes.

A lot of players think that talent alone should guarantee opportunity, but coaches value dependability more than flashes. Attitude, Effort + Energy, & Discipline travel. If you're up and down, your role will be too. The "Game" rewards what it can rely on.

Yesterday we wrapped up our spring Maple Rec Swim Program with a swim meet. This year we had 114 total swimmers between Elementary Swim Lessons, Elementary Stroke Development, and Middle School Swim Club. 73 swimmers participated in our meet, including 17 of our Lessons kids that progressed enough to swim a full length of the pool. We are so proud of each and every swimmer in this program that came and worked hard twice a week for 5 weeks to improve!

A special thank you to our high school swimmers who were our lesson instructors, many of which also volunteered their time to coach our stroke development as well. Without them this program would not be possible. We are so fortunate to have such amazing young adults that are willing to give back and help grow our Maple swim family. They include:
