With some modifications to the sled last year we are now able to run the 4 cylinder / Zinger class. For the 2026 season we welcome any pullers of that class.

Track crew
1. Flagman has final say on track operations.
2. Sled operator has final say on gear changes.
3. The first five pullers of the previous class are required to work the class following their class. This will be strictly enforced, in order to keep the pull flowing smoothly. If you cannot work the track, it is your responsibility to find a replacement for your duties.
Safety Equipment
4. Failure to work the track or have someone work for you willresult in a disqualification for your class.
1. Must wear a SFI approved single layer fire suit or better
2. Drivers must wear a "full face" DOT approved helmet
3. All tractors must have an A.B. type fire extinguisher within reach o driver
4. All drivers must wear a properly secured 4-point harness

Driving Requirements
1. Must be 15 1/2 years old with valid driver's permit.
2. Minors must have parental consent if under 18 years old.
3. Driver must be able to operate all controls with no problems.
4. Driver must be in seat at all times when tractor is running on and off of track.
5. Driver must have one hand on steering wheel at all times.

Classes of competition
1750 lb. Sportsman Small Block
1850 lb. Small Block
1850 lb. Small Tire Small Block
2000 lb. Single Carb Rail
2050 lb. Open Rail

General rules
1. No portion of tractor may touch sled
2. Any event run under a "floating finish", the maximum measured distance is 340 feet. If more than one tractor passes 340 feet, there will be a pull-off.
3. All tractors will have a maximum of two attempts to create a measurable distance, any pull clearly attempted to be shut off by 100' will be granted a re-hook.
4. Weights must be securely fastened.
5. All tractors must be equipped with a roll cage.
The roll cage must include the following:
Two main hoops over top the driver, connected laterally with a minimum of two (2) tubes or bars. The roll cage must attach to the chassis with at least 4 attachment points via grade 8 bolts. Roll cage must be capable of supporting entire tractors weight.
6. Exhaust must be within 10* of vertical with 12" past last bend
7. No pressurized fuel tanks
8. No nitro methane or nitrous oxide
9. Must be able to shut of fuel from seat
10. Must have min. of 060" thick side shields that cover full length of engine and from bottom of heads to 6" below center of crankshaft
11. Must have SFI approved harmonic damper or be covered 360 with 1/8" steel or 1/4" aluminum with two 1" straps on front
12. No loss of ballast is allowed, any item that falls on the track will result in disqualification. Internal mechanical damage excluded
13. Driver must maintain at least one hand on the steering wheel at all times.
14. No engine driven fans, the top 270* of alternator belts must be shielded
15. Maximum of 3 minutes to have sled moving after it is set and ready
16. All disqualifications must be brought to track officials attention before next tractor runs
17. Only 1 rider allowed in the seat
18. Any tractor is legal to pull in the next larger class (i.e. injected small block may pull in single carb rail.

Brakes
1. Tractors must have at least one working brake
2. Minimum of 1/8" steel covering 270* from top of all drive line brakes

Throttle
1. Throttle must bring engine back to idle, un-assisted, when released
2. Throttle must snap back to the closed position
3. Must open in forward motion
4. All throttle linkages must run dual return springs.

Transmissions
1. Must have SFI approved belhousing on gearboxes or manual transmissions
2. If bellhousing is not made for application, bellhousing must be covered in 1/4" steel
3. Must have SFI blanket or shield on automatic transmissions
4. Must run torque converter dust shield
5. Must only start in park or neutral
6. Final driveline must be covered 360" in 1/4" steel or aluminum for its entire length
7. Reverse lock out and safety signal must self-operating
8. Must have audible or visual backup signal that is clearly heard or seen from rear of tractor

Hitches /Drawbar
1. Minimum thickness of 3/4" steel and maximum of 1" thick steel
2. Minimum of 2" hole for hook
3. Minimum of 6" back from center of axle to hook point
4. Maximum height of 13"
5. Hook must rest freely in drawbar
6. Minimum of 3/8" (1/2" for N.A safety cable that loops around rear-end and is double clamped at any splice. (No cable needed for NTPA spec hitches). Hook must rest through the safety cable when hooked to the sled. If cable goes completely around third member, it must be routed over top the pinion shaft.
7. All tractors running 18.4 x 16.1 tires must run a single piece drawbar. No "rings" welded to bar stock.
8. Must be free of obstructions for hook, chain and checkers
9. Hitch must be rigid in all directions.

Wheelie bars
1. Must be able to support tractors own weight
2. Minimum of 3" contact pad or 1" x 5" wheels
3. Maximum of 5" from contact point to ground
4. Minimum of 6" back from rear most point on tire to contact point
5. Minimum of 12" push bar that extends vertical from back of wheelie bars and ties back into frame or wheelie bars

Killswitch
1. Must have testable kill switch that shuts off the engine
2. Must be within 6" radius of center of seat
3. Kill switch must have a 2" steel ring for kill cable attachment.
4. The 2" ring must be welded or brazed closed.
5. If kill switch falls out after 100' run is over
6. If kill switch is accidentally pulled by sled operator, puller may run again
7. Diesel tractors kill switch must shut off air supply to the engine
8. Extension cord plugs or "cord caps" are prohibited.

Entry fees
1. Members $15 per class per tractor.
2. Non-members $25 per class per tractor.
3. Entries are closed after first hook of class,.
4. There is a $30 charge for returned checks.

Inclement Weather
1. If two-thirds of a class has been run the class is considered complete, and all remaining tractors will be issued ONE hook point.
2. If half of the pull is completed, the event is considered complete with no rain date.

Points_system
1. Only members collect points, and the points go to the tractor, not the driver
2. All pulls that the club sled is at are points pulls
3. Tractor must have membership number on both sides
4. Tractors accumulate points for the season championship in this manner:
1st Place= 6 points
2nd Place = 5 points
3rd Place =4 points
4th Place = 3 points
5th Place =2 points
All other entries receive 1 "hook" point
Each division will total all class A & B hooks, to create one overall champion per division.

SmallBlock, Big tire / Small tire Class Rules

1. Maximum of one automotive type engine of smallblock design
2. Maximum of 415 cubic inches
3. Natural aspiration only
4. Maximum of 8' from center of rear axle to furthest point forward
5. Maximum of 6' wide
6. Maximum tire size of 34x18.00-15 small tire class and 18.4x16.1 big tire class
7. No aluminum blocks
8. Will receive payback for first 3 placing small tire tractors at away pulls offering smallblock class

Sportsman Small Block Class Rules

1. Small block Chevy, Ford, or Mopar only. Must be a first generation OEM cast iron block.
2. Maximum ofone gas carburetor with choke horn
3. Must run stock height valve covers with only one stock height valve cover gasket
4. Must run stamped steel rockers and stock adjustment nuts, no roller rockers of any type 5. No roller valve train of any kind
6. Automatic transmissions only
7. HEI or Dual point ignitions only, NO ignition boxes.
8. Must run OEM dual plane intake or Edelbrock Performer RPM intake only, no air gap intakes
9. Must run OEM cast iron heads, no aftermarket heads. No Cleveland heads on Ford engines.
10. No aftermarket blocks
11. Maximum of one 1" carburetor spacer or adapter
12. Maximum of 31-15.50-15 tires
13. ach tractor must be inspected before first pull, and may be checked at random at all events 14. Must pull off valve cover and air cleaner when checked
15. No stroker oil pans, and no modifications to oil pan to clear for stroking allowed
16. Maximum of 8' from center of rear axle to furthest point forward
17, Maximum of 6' wide
18. Must run gas only, no alcohol, ethanol or E85. No oxygenated fuels.
