Hey friends and customers! I wanted to take a moment to talk openly about something that comes up from time to time — requests for large discounts or price matching with big box companies.
I get it — we all want the best deal. But here’s the reality:
When I offer even a 10–25% discount, I’m often cutting into what little margin I have left after:
Feeding and caring for hundreds of animals daily
Cleaning and maintaining healthy environments
Covering building rent, supplies, electricity, and more
Spending 4–6 hours a day doing the work myself — no shortcuts, no mass-production
I'm not a giant chain. I'm a small, hands-on breeder who values quality over quantity. That means every animal is raised with care, attention, and the kind of ethical standards that many large companies simply don’t match.
So no, I can’t always beat or match the prices of high-volume breeders or warehouses. But what I can promise you is:
