Last night Vivian and I worked on attacking the ball. Confidence can be the missing piece and what throws players off. Vivian had developed a habit of backing away from the ball because she was scared it would hit her.
So I decided to throw wiffle balls directly at her. I told her I didn’t care how good of a hit it was, I just wanted her attacking the ball. A few minutes later, she started crushing the ball off the pitching machine.
While mechanics are (obviously) super important, making sure we build up our athletes and know what kind of support and coaching they need is even more crucial.

We had an amazing first s&c class last night! These kiddos didn’t come to mess around, they worked hard for the entire hour they were in the facility.
