Our 2nd Red Knight Chess Cafe Anniversary Tournament is coming up on August 23rd! Book your seat for one or two of the competitions on that day:

👉 FIDE Rated Rapid Tournament, with 30,000 THB cash awards! Arrival 9.30am, finish by 5.00pm.

👉 FIDE Rated Blitz Tournament, with 5,000 THB vash awards. Starts at 6.00pm, finish around 8.00 pm.

👉 Age Group Rapid Tournaments: U8, U10, U12 and U16. Arrival 9.30am, finish by 5.00pm.

We can accept total of 100 players for the Rapid competitions, and 60 players for the Blitz tournament.

This coming Saturday we will host the 100th edition of our Casual Chess Evening Blitz Tournament! We would like to to express our gratitude to all the chess players and enthusiasts who attended our events in the past 99 weeks. It means everything to us!

This Saturday, for the 100th time, the tournament entry will be free as usual. We will have some Red Knight merchandise and other chess gifts for the top 3 players and for players who were most regular in the previous 99 Saturdays.

Please note that there is no registration process but our space is limited. We will accept players on first-come first-served basis. This is primarily an event for adults, a small number of our Red Knight juniors will be allowed to take part.

As always, the tournament is unrated and friendly. Our focus is on enjoying chess games and having fun.

We are delighted to announce that our wonderful hosts, the Thai-Chinese International School (TCIS), will once again welcome chess players from around 40 schools across Thailand and abroad for one of the country's biggest scholastic chess events.

Congratulations to all the award winners in the last FIDE rated tournaments that took place on July 5th, 2026 at our chess club!
In a full-house event, with close to 30 players in each tournament, here are the winners:

Rapid:
