Why Use It?

The sn**ch-grip variation increases:

* Upper back demand
* Posterior chain loading
* Lat strength
* Pulling mobility
* Increased range

Here’s a simple coaching breakdown for the Sn**ch-Grip Deadlift πŸ‘‡

Setup

1. Stand hip-width apart
Bar over mid-foot, shoelaces visible.
2. Take a wide sn**ch grip
Grip should be wide enough that the bar sits at the hip crease when standing tall.
3. Brace and hinge
Push hips back, soften knees slightly, chest tall, lats tight.
4. Set your back
Neutral spine, shoulders slightly in front of the bar, arms long.

The Lift

5. Push the floor away
Drive through the whole foot while keeping the bar close to the body.
6. Keep tension through the lats
Think β€œbend the bar into you” to stop it drifting forward.
7. Extend fully at the top
Stand tall with glutes squeezed β€” avoid leaning back.

The Descent

8. Hinge first
Push hips back before bending knees.
9. Control the bar down
Keep it close to thighs and shins all the way back to the floor.

Tuesday – PUMP LB πŸ‘
Lower body volume ramps up! Sn**ch grip deadlifts, Torsonator hack squats & posterior chain burners will challenge control under fatigue.

Wednesday – CARDIO U ⚑
Less rest, more control. Regulate effort, recover quicker & stay sharp through every zone.

Thursday – STRENGTH UB πŸ’ͺ
Upper body strength returns with incline press, chin ups & shoulder work. Own your setup and prioritise quality reps.

Friday – HIIT πŸš€
