🥾 Hiking Weekend in the Rodnei Mountains
📅 October 9–11, 2026

This time, we’re taking you to a place that few people get to experience, even though it could easily be called the Dolomites of Romania. ⛰️
Our goal is the highest peak in the Rodnei Mountains: Pietrosul Rodnei (2,303 m).

🗒️ PROGRAMME

Friday: Arrival at our base at Camping Pietrosul Rodnei by 20:00. In the evening, we’ll have a short briefing, go over the route and plan for the next day, and check the necessary equipment.

Saturday: “Summit day”
📍 approx. 17 km
↗️ approx. 1,490 m elevation gain
⏱️ approx. 8–9 hours

A long but spectacular hike on terrain that is not technically difficult. In the evening, we’ll have a shared pizza dinner. 🍕

Sunday: A relaxed recovery hike, with the route chosen according to how much energy the group has left.

🚗 TRAVEL
We’ll coordinate carpooling in a WhatsApp group so that we can arrive with as few cars as possible.

🏕️ ACCOMMODATION
You can stay either in a tent or in a two-person wooden cabin.
There are only 8 cabin spots available in total.

The campsite has toilets, showers, hot water and a covered common area.

🍔 FOOD
Everyone brings their own food and drinks. After Saturday’s hike, the shared pizza dinner is on us. 🍕

The campsite also has a grill, gas stove and refrigerator.

🎒 ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT
Hiking shoes/boots, 15–30 L backpack, 2 L of water, headlamp, warm and waterproof clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, whistle and energy-rich hiking snacks.

For those camping: tent, sleeping mat and warm sleeping bag.

💵 PRICES
🏕️ Tent: 270 RON/person
🛖 Wooden cabin: 340 RON/person

The price includes the guided hike, the programme, accommodation and Saturday’s dinner.

💳 Registration deposit: 150 RON
The deposit can be transferred via Revolut:
The remaining amount is payable upon arrival, preferably in cash.

RideEffect a kamera mögül! 📸

Szeretünk utazni, szeretünk sportolni, és szeretjük a legszebb pillanatokról szerzett élményeket a legszebb fotókkal és videókkal emlékként megőrizni. 💙

Serar Szabolcs ( Serar Szabolcs ) már a kezdetek óta a csapatunk tagja, Jakab Lóránd ( Jakab Lóri ) pedig először résztvevőként csatlakozott hozzánk egy eseményünk által.
Ők meséltek a KMN keretén belül, az Ifjúsági Udvar színpadán arról, hogy milyen a RideEffect eseményein, táboraiban elkapni a legjobb pillanatokat. 😎

Szörf, wakeboard, sziklafal, hegyek, snowboard, sí, vagy ami még sokszor a palettára kerül.

Szó volt az utazások szépségeiről, az extrém helyzetekről és arról is, hogy nemcsak a kamerát kell tudni jól kezelni, hanem a sportokba is bele kell kóstolni, meg kell szeretni őket, így a munka mellett akad idő és lehetőség a tanulásra, fejlődésre, lazulásra. 😁

Mi nagyon büszkék vagyunk rájuk, és hálásak a sok szép fotóért és videóért. 🙏

Legközelebb Balira utazunk el, ahova Lóri fog elkísérni, majd pedig októberben Fuerteventurára Szabival.
Mindkét helyen szörfözni fogunk és felfedezni a helyi látványosságokat. 🏄
