Celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday with these amazing mothers!

Sharing about their “Gift of Giving” were Cebuana Actress/Singer Akiko Solon, Brigada News DJ Sweet Caroline and my Mentor Ludy Demecillo. Salamat Sir Gio of Mahi Center Mactan for this opportunity 🫶

It’s also a moment to acknowledge the many beautiful faces of motherhood:
• children who became mothers to their siblings and own parents
• mothers who remain deeply connected with their angel-children 👼
• single fathers stepping into maternal roles
• foster mothers and adoptive mothers
• relatives, mentors, teachers, and caregivers
• friends who hold, guide, and care for us like family
• fur mothers who lovingly care for their animal companions
• community leaders who create safe spaces for growth, care, and belonging
• ourselves, as we parent our inner child

Special acknowledgment to the mothers who carried life for nine months and committed to a lifetime nurturance — for the physical, emotional, and lots of invisible work that you do every day. You are appreciated.

Every marriage goes through seasons. When you are building a family and raising a child, your relationship with your partner becomes even more important.

Learning how to truly see, listen, and meet each other again through the stress, changes, responsibilities, and seasons of life is what keeps love alive. When parents are aligned, the child and the whole family thrive too… extending even into the community they belong to.

𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥.

Not literally about government or elections. But how societal inequalities such as power struggle can be mirrored in our dating lives and relationships.

Our "type," standards, decisions, and beliefs are influenced by culture and power structures.

That's why in my ALIGN dating coaching program, it is a priority to bring awareness to the politics of gender, beauty, class, race, family expectations, and privileges.

Not to overanalyze everything, but to give you back 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞—consciously, not just conditionally.
