We had a bonus day of winter bowls yesterday after weather looked ominous! 🌧🌩🌦. We managed three games of 8 ends before the rain came in. Clintonwayne Kahi and Signature Homes were our much appreciated sponsors!

We had three x three winners.

Third was John, Liz and Faye with 13 ends.
Second was Richard Williams , Richard Coles and Skye Renes with 16 ends and 41 points.
First with two points in it was Paul, Graham and Ted with 16 ends and 43 points.

Hi all, at this stage winter bowls is still on tomorrow. Clintonwayne Kahi is the days sponsor as well as our overall sponsor Signature Homes. Please turn up to register by 9am so we can kick off early and try to beat the rain!

Please note: if you have entered a team, it is your responsibility to turn up with a full team to play. We do have some spare players whom I can share with you, but its up to you to organise them. If you turn up Friday morning without a full team you may miss out on playing for that day which we do not want :-)

Our first of our 10 week winter bowls season was held yesterday. But the weather didn't feel like winter. Such a beaut day! Our overall winter season sponsor is Signature Homes and yesterday's event was sponsored by Whittakers Funeral Home . Thankyou very much.

It was also our first winter bowls on our new green!

We played 4 games of 8 ends!

Winners with 4 wins was Kevin, Allan and John P. Closely followed second with 3 wins and a draw was Dennis, Mary and John C. And third with 3 wins and 19 ends was Steve, Chris and Diane. Lucky draw was Tau, Jacqui and Belinda

Well done to all. Let's hope for good weather again next week and we'll see you all there!

OTP did well this weekend at the Northland Junior Champ of Champs. We had Graham Forbes, Richard Coles, Richard Williams, Liz Tregidga and Viki Hurring enter. Viki won the title and Richard W was runnerr up. Well done, to everyone and a HUGE thank you to our members who supported us..

Fabulous turn out at OTP, fun game of bowls, the best buffet of food, then celebrating our star achievers for their performance over the last 12 months. We had Apologies from those who could not make the presentation.
Big thank you to everyone who participated, and we would like to acknowledge John and Lyn who will represent Northland again (two years in a row) as the Centre Mixed Pair Champs, to our Centre Men's 4 Champs, Dennis, Paul, Richard C and John C and to our Interclub Men's 7's who travelled to Wellington - John C, Paul, Dennis, Richard C, Richard W, Graham, John W (Graham F played) and not to forget to mention our women who came third. Huge efforts everyone. What a year OTP HAD...
For those who didn't receive an award this year, keep going, we are very proud of you all.
