A Huge Thank You to Iuri – Joga Bonito Futsal Academy 🙌⚽

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Iuri, who has been the heart and soul behind Queenstown AFC's Term 3 futsal program for the past few years.

Under Iuri's guidance, countless kids have grown not just as players, but as confident individuals who love the game. His patience, energy, and genuine care for every child have left an indelible mark on our club and community.

Now, as Iuri prepares to leave this weekend and embark on a new chapter with his family in Australia, we want to send him off with all our appreciation and best wishes. While we're sad to see him go to those warmer climates, we're thrilled for him and his family's next adventure.

Iuri, thank you for everything you've given to Queenstown AFC and to the kids who've had the privilege of learning from you. Your legacy here will continue through the players you've inspired.

Today, on World Football Day, we celebrate more than just the game. We celebrate the people who make it possible.

At Queenstown AFC, football is about community — players, coaches, volunteers, families, supporters, and sponsors all coming together to create something special both on and off the pitch.

To our players who wear the badge with pride, our coaches and volunteers who give their time so generously, and the families who spend countless hours supporting from the sidelines — thank you. Your passion and commitment are the heartbeat of our club.

The U12 Girls QAFC Whites are officially on fire! 🔥🌟

Following their incredible start to the season, the girls have now secured their 4th win in a row! In a hard-fought battle against Wanaka Pink, the team emerged victorious with a score of 5 - 2, proving once again that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Take a look at the highlights from our Week 3 match in the video —it perfectly showcases the grit and resilience the team brought to the pitch that day. That spirit has only grown stronger since then, leading to this latest triumph. Every week, and especially in those key moments captured on film, the girls displayed a level of teamwork and passion that is truly inspiring. They learned to lift each other up, stay focused under pressure, and play with a heart that lights up the field.

To the girls: keep believing in yourselves and in each other. A 4-game winning streak is a massive achievement, but the journey is just beginning.

What a fantastic atmosphere for our latest match day here at Queenstown AFC. Since it was Mother's Day, we paused the action for a special moment: our U12 BDO team players gathered on the pitch with their mums for a group photo. 📸💐

It was a beautiful reminder that behind every young player is a family cheering them on.

The 2026 season has OFFICIALLY KICKED OFF! 🚀⚽️

Last Sunday was everything we hoped for and more. Our Queenstown AFC kids stepped onto the pitch, ready to go, and they absolutely delivered. The level of commitment, skill, and teamwork on display was incredible — proud doesn't even begin to cover it.

We saw some fantastic moments: goals scored, tackles made, saves kept, and most importantly, a whole lot of fun had by all. This is what youth football is all about — development, enjoyment, and building a community that supports each other.
