John offers the best possible service to make your fishing day a memorable one. He is a qualified skipper, good cook and has over 30 years experience. Deepwater fishing for hapuku (groper) is the specialty but plenty of snapper and kingfish is caught during the summer months. Wellington Fishing Charters' vessel, Melicent, is 52ft and can take up to 25 people. It has a full safety survey, onboard t

oilet, fridge and freezer, large fish hold, cooking facilities, accomodation, and plug-in facilities. Bait, tea, coffee, snacks, filleting, and a BBQ facility provided.
