Victoria Motorcycle Club Inc Round 2 Manfield.
After missing Round 1 and only 2 practice sessions on Saturday in damp conditions I were on the back foot heading into sundays race day.
We set out this round to get some wet racing in but Fielding had a different idea. ☀️☀️🌞
Qualifying was a struggle on full wets on a drying track P3
5 sprint races I finished P2, P2, P1, P1, P1
The overall round win.
The 4th race my zip broke on my gear shift side boot and got stuck in the heel guard dropping about 10-15 bike lengths from 1st place on lap 3.
I put my head down and closed the gap on way to setting a new 150 SUPERSPORT lap record by nearly 1 second and the win on some 6 day old NZSBK slicks!!
Congrats to Troy Stephens Racing 28 & Samuel Chave Racing making some good improvements and respectful racing.
Cool to see my younger mates make some good gains over the day also- Alex, Kane, Maddox and Marc.
Unfortunately my team mate Keiran Mair Racing had a big high side resulting in a trip to the hospital, wish you well mate.
Cool having Gavin to pit with over the weekend and Steve Bagshaw guiding me very well on a weekend that didnt always click.

My first ever NZSBK Championship win at Hampton Downs in race 3 was such a highlight, the awesome battles on track with my mates, good times and big smiles as captured by ASP and also the not so great times ( crash ) at Taupo, the ups and downs of motorcycle racing teaching me all valuable lessons.
Can’t wait to ride my Yamaha R15 again!!

NZSBK Championship 2026 and Taupo International Motorsport Park round 4 wind up.

In my wildest dreams I never expected to be on lap record pace by the end of each round with 2.5/4 tracks I’d never seen, let alone battling for a few wins, so to say it was a success could quite well be an understatement!!

Taupo I got to do the practice day in the rain which was cool as I’d never been in the rain on my R15 with full wets on.
Saturday was qualifying & race 1 which was P2 and P3 in the race with some cool battles throughout with my mate Ryder C Racing
Ryder got the slip on me down the last straight taking P2.
Congratulations to Hunter Charlett Racing who had shot off up the road easily taking P1 and also the 150 Supersport Championship.
Race 2 was much the same but we had slightly closed the gap to Hunter.
Race 3 was awesome for the most part- some awesome battles with Hunter for all of the race and Ryder was right there behind, in the very final corner I got a little off line heading in and tried to lean the bike more to make the corner and got on the gas and round she went into the kitty litter!
Not affecting my championship position finishing 🏆🏆🏆P3🏆🏆🏆
Congratulations to Hunter on Winning the 150&300 Championships and all my other friends/competitors for all there awesome efforts and improvements, Troy Stephens Racing 28, Issy Smith Racing, Samuel Chave Racing, Tyler Lambarth.
There were plenty of great times on and off track so a huge thankyou to fellow riders, friends, family Steve Bagshaw for being my day 1 friend and coach, Keiran Mair Racing for the top notch team vibes and spare bike and everyone involved in making the 2026 NZSBK Championship a success. Greatfull.
Thankyou Steve for organising the IMD 250 for a sweet ride in the legends parade( Lucky boy )

NZSBK Championship round 3 Hampton Downs

I am so stoked to have my first ever win at national level in Supersport 150, a massive thankyou to the team around me and support from friends and competitors made it very special.
I was bawling my eyes out the whole way in after the flag.

I Finally managed to keep up with Hunter Charlett Racing and Ryder C Racing in the last race was so much fun on and off the track with all my friends.
