Auckland Motorcycle Club champs round 2 Hampton Downs
What an amazing experience to have my first ever race weekend on a 300 Supersport Yamaha R3 thanks to Greg&Jane Percival.
I’m so proud of my achievements even with a little “Glitch” in the final race.
Managed to just nab 2nd place in my first ever race!!
P2, P3, P3 and DNF in the last race.
( a tucked front into the dipper)
Finished P3 for the round.
No injuries and little damage.
Really thankful for the support from the 300 riders.
Always great having Steve Bagshaw from Moto Academy NZ guiding me with his overall knowledge.
Thankyou to all of the people who made the day happen.

My first ride on a 300 Supersport bike was so fun i didn’t want to get off !!

Another great day hanging with my mates Keiran Mair Racing and coach Steve Bagshaw being there for the first ride & painting the body work.

Massive thank you to Greg&Jane Percival for lending me there Yamaha R3 (Left) bike for the season & all the help getting it together- Steve B, Steve L, Tim G, Alan H, Hayden F and Dad.

Had the best time on track at the Race bike test day and steadily improved as the day went on.

Had some cool race start practice in the middle of the day with Alistair W 😃 - some videos in the comments!!

Really thankful to Steve Lloyd for the massive box of parts to “take what ya need” 🤙🤙

Great having Gma, Chris, mum and C**t come and watch me made it even more special.

Fun day Sunday Round 1 Hampton Downs.
Q-1, R1-1st, R2-1st, R3-1st, R4-2nd in Supersport 150. P1 for the day.
Great time battling with some of the slightly faster 250s on track and learning some good race craft.
Some things to take away and work on going foward.
Best time of 1:25.6 & 1 second better than last years best 🙌in less than ideal conditions!!
Massive thanks to everyone involved with Auckland Motorcycle Club organising & running the day it’s much appreciated.
