I am super excited to announce that the new studio is now up and running, and to celebrate I'd like to invite you to a FREE class this Thursday evening at 5.30pm to christen the space. No need to respond, just turn up - we've got room for everyone!

There is also exciting news for August when I'll be joining with Samantha Parker from Nuku Yoga to combine our schools, offering initially a timetable of 12 or more classes of varying yoga styles over the week. More on that closer to the time.

I'll also be running a 6-week beginner's course each term starting in August, so if you know anyone interested in yoga that wants to give it a go that would be a great place to start.

No class this Monday 1 June 2026, Kings Birthday weekend.

On the plus side, we could well be in the new studio for Thursday's class - we have a rope wall! 🤩

First coat of sealer on the rope walls, and all 28 ropes now knotted!

Exciting times, the studio is moving! Yes, I have signed a lease on a bigger, better place at 13 Brougham St (the old Common Good studio some of you may remember from before Covid).

Builders are in at the moment putting up some walls, which will include ropes so that's another whole aspect of Iyengar Yoga we can play with. Thanks to Youtube I've just knotted my first one - only 27 to go... 🤨

Also, I have a shipload of new yoga chairs on their way as we speak so the new studio will be pretty well equipped!

I'll be moving in as soon it's ready to go, but in the meantime, classes as usual at 46 Egmont St for the next few weeks at least.
