Old printed posters.
Ive been cleaning up the garage and found a big box of excess posters of North Canterbury Basketball and Rangiora High School Basketball from back 2017-2019. Back in the day when I was attempting posters, so perhaps a good memory of the kids before COVID days.
There are 1 or 2 extra copies, all in great condition, that if people want them because theirs is a bit worse for wear, then these are free, FIFS.
The catch is you have to come to Loburn to get them, unless North Canterbury Basketball and Rangiora High School Basketball would like me to drop them off.

Canterbury Rams Import Todd Withers.
A big signing this year for the Rams is Todd Withers .
Todd helped to a title a few years ago, is a vastly experienced international player and now the are fortunate to have his services,
He's what I would call a rangey player covering alot of space effortlessly. It makes him the ideal defender , communication is great, and I would say the glue for the Rams defense this year. But of course he's a classy three point shooter who can rack up alot of points quickly and if the opportunity presents itsself he'll slam a couple of dunks.
As you can see he's pretty photogenic and expressive, which is a bit limited in NZ basketball, so is great for the photographer and hopefully will pickup some more photos of him as the season progeesses.

Canterbury Rams vs Nelson Giants.
This post features one of the Star Imports Tamenang Choh (hopefully).
T is a greate assett for the Rams games as he can do everything including filling in for TbBritt when subed. He regulary scores 20 plus a game and really puts his body on the line. He dows it all.
Before taking his photos at media day, and he asked me to make him look good.
I did give a cheeky answer...
He doesn;t really need much help but hope this post does him justice.

Canterbury Rams vs Southland Sharks.

How good was Walter Brown...
Exceptional really.
We've known how good Walter is, for quite a while now, in fact for me, way back to under 19 Nationals, when he should have made the Tournament team.
Last year was bit of a break out for him with a 20 plus point game, however this year he is something else.
The college stint over in the USA has done wonders for his game . For one he starts the NBL season running with plenty of game time under his belt, but, he also added to his tool-kit, specifically a mid-range shot. He's had 2 30 point games and other 20 point games. He's now at another level and now a premier shooter. I think he pretty much has the compete game now as a guard.

But there is a side issue for the Rams coaching staff. We've had two occassions where lead players have scored 30 point in the first 30 minutes, then appear to be gased in the last quater. The team had leads at the 3/4 point of the game and went on to lose. This one to a very good Sharks team. You need your elite players there over the full 40 minutes. Work loads need the be better managed right through the game.
