Country rugby at its finest!
Expect big hits, hard runs and plenty of banter!

Post game expect a delicious meat bun, a messy boat race, speeches, laughter and a good yarn!

Then into the main hall for the Strath School PTAs Lip Sync

We may be bias but get long and support our amazing school!
The best kids, an amazing teaching staff and a great active PTA putting on a fundraiser like this!

Expect raffles, silent and live auctions!

Auctions not your thing??..every dollar over the bar is also heading to the school to cheers to you!🍻

The Taieri RFC really turned it on for us!
Taieri came away with the goods winning 22-5

Last home game for a few weeks so get around the show grounds and support the lads!💙💛
Hopefully the sun will shine and it'l be a pearler!

The team management, bar staff and ladies in the kitchen have done a hell of a job with 4 home games on the trot, I'm sure there will be a sigh of relief come Saturday afternoon!

Kings Birthday sees the competition take a break, then back to play our mates down at West Taieri!

The low inversion layer sat in the valley, frost still hanging on the paddocks, and really shivering cold. But when it’s Strath vs Green Island with the Anderson Langley Trophy on the line, nobody’s worried about the temperature.

That game always brings it - tight forward packs, messy breakdowns, and the kind of atmosphere where you can hear every hit and every bit of sideline sledging. Strath at home on a day like that is as old-school as it gets, the crowds poured in and were witness to a great country rugby spectacle!
Strath come away with the goods and another engraving on the Anderson Langley Trophy 💙💛
