On Kings Birthday weekend we held our "Major Domestic/Invitation Single Entry Tournament". We played 7 rounds over 2 days where cards were drawn each round to determine what rink you played on and who your team was. With this format a team mate one round could be the opposition in the next round. What an awesome weekend and format it was. The weather held out for us on Sunday long enough to complete all the rounds without anyone getting too wet.

We couldn't run these tournaments without the generosity of our awesome sponsors. Thanks to this weekends sponsors Kathy & Garry, Juken NZ and an "Anonymous Sponsor" there were 12 prizes up for grabs.

On Sunday 26th April, we held our Summer Closing. Due to our storm damaged green, we made this tournament a domestic 2x4x2 pairs, changing partners each game, a format everyone enjoyed.
A big thank you to our sponsors, Juken NZ, Garry Rush and Kathy Johnson, your generosity is very much appreciated.
Also, thank you to Peter and Murray for the match, Kevin for the green, and Jean’s crew in the kitchen plus everyone else who helped out to make this a very enjoyable day.

Sunday 22nd March we held our Bruce Panther Memorial A/C Triples tournament.

A great day was had by a small field of teams from Houhora Bowls and Sports Club, Church Road Bowling Club, Kaikohe Bowling Club, Coopers Beach Bowling Club, and our own RSA members.
