Hamilton Mountain Bike Club Hamilton Mountain Bike Club is based at Pukete Farm Park on Maui Street, Te Rapa. Also a Winter series and social rides. Come ride and race on our 12km loop.

We offer a Summer race series of 14 races, both social and competitive classes, all ages. Established in 1989 the Hamilton Mountain Bike Club has worked literally thousands of hours to create the track network and keep it maintained for free public and club use. It's all done by volunteers so joining the club or a donation are great ways to help us continue this development. During the year the Ha

milton Mountain Bike Club run a number of events, both competitive and social so don't worry if you think its all about racing, its not. Summer see's the always popular 'Summer Series' run on a Wednesday evening and with competitive and social grades. This is a 14 race series with 7 each races before and 7 after Christmas. Keep an eye on facebook for when to come down and register, normally in early Oct

In Spring we see the clubs signature event - the Pukete Spaghetti, a six and three hour teams or solo event designed for both competitive and social riders. This is very much a local/family/fun event, lots of spot prizes. Its generally run on a 6km course, and its how many laps you can do in 3 or 6hrs. Fostering young riders at competitive and social levels is a key part of the club with youth development squad for the competitive, and many casual family group rides and events for those who simply enjoy riding. Many of the social rides are organised by club members rather than at committee level and are always well supported and fun to attend. Events away from the clubs track that are attended include favourites like:


The Whaka (100km,50km,25km)
The Highlander (63km,40km, 25km)
T42
Ruapehu Express

Being part of the club puts you in contact with other MTB enthusiasts and gives you a chance to enjoy your sport at a local level. It doesn't matter whether you're a social or competitive rider - the club has something for everyone. For less than the cost of a family visit to the movies you can join the club for a whole year - and we reckon there's no where else you could have this much fun for so little money!

Righto, the weather is looking better🤞so let's try this again! Velo Workshop Winter Series Race #8, take 2 is on this Wednesday. Rego from 5:30pm, racing from 6pm.

For every individual race you enter, you'll get an entry into the draw for some Gloworm Lights, so the more you race, the better you chances will be!
