MINI BLUES | TERM 4

Registrations are now open for Mini Blues in Term 4!

Mini Blues is our entry-level football programme for 3–6 year olds, designed to help kids fall in love with the game.

This programme is perfect for first-time players — no pressure, no trials, just fun and learning. Suitable for boys and girls aged 3–6 years.

Mini Blues is led by supportive coaches in a safe, encouraging setting Mini Blues is all about getting involved and having fun — the ideal first step on a footballing journey.

Term 4 Dates:
Friday 30 October - Friday 4 December - Time 4.45-5.30pm (NOTE CHANGE IN TIME FROM PREVIOUS YEARS)

JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING | THANK YOU ⚽💙

What a season it has been! As we wrap up another year of junior football, we want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been part of the Wanderers family this season.

Thank you to every coach, manager, grounds crew member, volunteer, parent, supporter and player who has given their time, energy and passion to our club this season. From early, wet Saturday mornings to the cheers from the sideline, it’s the people behind the scenes and those on the pitch who make our club what it is. 🙌

To our players — we are incredibly proud of every one of you. We know there were so many players who could have received awards, but awards only tell a small part of the story. Every player who turned up, gave their best, supported their teammates, learned something new, scored a goal, made a save, helped a friend or simply enjoyed being part of the team has contributed to what has been a special season.

And a massive thank you to our amazing club sponsors who helped make our Junior Prizegiving a special occasion for our club - Bayleys Real Estate – Gurdeep Rana & Kimberly Savage, Livingstone Building and McDonald’s – The Parry Group. Your continued support of Wanderers and our junior players is hugely appreciated.

Football is about so much more than the result on the scoreboard — it’s about the friendships, the memories, the laughter, the challenges and the moments you share together. And we hope you take plenty of those memories with you.

WOMEN’S FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON! ⚽💙

It’s the last match of the season for our Women’s team, and they’re finishing at home! 🙌

This Sunday, the girls welcome Whakatāne Town to Porritt for one final game for the 2026 season!

Meanwhile, our U15 Girls have their final game of the season away to Ōtūmoetai. ⚽💙

It’s been a new league for the girls this year, and they’ve done a fantastic job competing and representing Wanderers. 👏💙

Good luck to both teams as they wrap up their seasons — get down to Porritt on Sunday and show your support! 🙌
