🏆🦅 DAY 2 | NEW ZEALAND SECONDARY SCHOOLS ROAD RELAY FESTIVAL 🦅🏆

🏃‍♂️ REGIONAL TEAMS ROAD RELAY

A huge day of racing with 12 regional teams lining up to represent their regions in the Regional Teams Road Relay.
The Waikato/Bay of Plenty had a strong contingent on the start line, with plenty of Hamilton City Hawks athletes proudly representing the region. 🦅💪

And what a result…

🏆 OVERALL WINNERS! 🏆
The winning team featured four Hamilton City Hawks members — Max Stirling, Jack Stirling, Tasman Reid and Jacob Liu! 🔥
An outstanding achievement from the boys, taking on the best young runners from around New Zealand and coming away with the overall victory.

Congratulations boys — absolutely awesome! 🦅🏆🔥

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ DAY 1 – NZ SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ ROAD RACE RELAY FESTIVAL 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
A fantastic day at the Hamilton City Hawks clubrooms as we hosted Day 1 of the 2026 New Zealand Secondary Schools’ Road Race Relay Festival. 🇳🇿

Today saw the Inter-Schools Road Relays, with teams taking on a 4 x 2.5km relay along the beautiful Waikato River path. 💪🏼🔥

It was great to see so many talented young athletes from secondary schools around the country battling it out in some fast and competitive racing.

A huge thank you to all the athletes, schools, officials, volunteers and supporters who helped make today such a great event! 👏🏼
