Hi All
We had a meeting last week and have come up with the following dates for the season. Please put them in your diaries.
PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF HELPERS AREN'T AVAILABLE. SO PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU CAN HELP IN ANYWAY, ITS NOT A COMMITTEE ONLY CLUB ITS OUR CLUB. LETS BAND TOGETHER TO MAKE IT FUN AND CATER FOR ALL.

September 27, Pole clinic, starting at 10 am (need help to put out poles and then help out others as needed we all have different experiences that can help and encourage others)

October 18, Working Equitation practice starting at 10.00 (again help needed day before to set up, on the day judges, time keepers (could be worked around your ride time so no one misses out if enough offer to help)

November 15, Working Equitation Competition (same as above)

December 6, Poofters and Ruffies Competition with Christmas theme (we will need 3 judges and 3 stewards to run the 3 rings)

January Sandi Kilmister will run a first aid course, one whole day with a certificate at the end. Cost $100 but will be subsidised by the sale of a trailer load of firewood donated by Sandi. Maximum attendees 16, so get in quick to book your space. Date and venue to be confirmed.

February 14, Trek, venue to be confirmed

March 14, Ride and Review dressage test of your choice, in preparation for the dressage competition (Christine will be your advisor/judge she will need a writter to help her)

March 21 Dressage Competition day one (judges and writters to be confirmed)

April 18, Dressage Competition day two. (as above)
Yes, there are only two dressage comp days, as May quite often has dodgy weather, and it all becomes too wet.

non members are welcome to come along fees will be $10 for rally days and $20 for competition days. Dressage series prices still to be confirmed, AND REMEMBER the object is to run fun, encouraging, supportive days so everyones help makes for light work nd enjoyable days for all. Hi All, we had a committee meeting last week and have now got an exciting programme for the coming season. Our first rally will be on 27 September, Pole clinic, run by Diane Wansbrough, starting at 10 am, at the Dannevirke Showgrounds as per usual. This will be a great start of the season rally to get your horse going, and get prepared for the coming competitions. I have sent everyone an email with all the dates.

Don't forget, our AGM is next Monday 20 July at the Merrilees Pub starting 5.30 dinner and 6.30 AGM. Please all come and support your club.

Good evening everybody.
As we have had very few entries for our Dressage day on Sunday, we have had to make the regretful decision to cancel the day.

Our AGM will be held in July, date to be confirmed, and we are hoping to get many members attending, to tell us what you would like in the way of rallies, etc, we will also be running the usual three days Dressage series next season, and we really hope to get good attendance.

We hope you will have a good winter, get out on your horses, and we hopefully catch up with you all at the AGM in July.

Here is the entry form for the 24th of May Dressage Day. Just to remind you all, it closes on the Monday 18 May so you have a couple of weeks to get ready. We would love to see you all there. Also, I am looking for a couple of writers for the day, so please get in touch if you feel you can spare some time in between tests. All help gratefully accepted to keep our club alive!

Good morning all, it is very disappointing but we have to cancel Sunday's dressage day due to low entries. There is always a cost attached to having dressage days, judges, writers, rosettes, external fees, let alone gifts for volunteers going the extra mile, etc etc, and we were not even halfway to meeting the basic costs. Please be mindful that to have a lovely club like ours, we do need to at least break even to make it work. For the ones that did enter, thank you so much, please let us know if you want to keep your entry in for the 24th of May or do you want a refund. If you want to be refunded, please provide an account number. We are going full steam ahead with the 24th of May and hope to see you all there. Please support your club.

Our entries close tomorrow, Monday 27 April. If you haven't entered and are thinking about it do it now. At the moment we do not have enough entries to run the event. We will make a decision on Monday night whether we are going ahead or not.
