We raced at Saturday nights Fireworks Extravaganza and it was good to see a bigger field of cars which made for some great battles, it's going to be a tough season!

It was a good night for us with a win in heat one, third in heat 2 and a hard fought win in heat three which came down to the last lap.

The Ward Engineering, HRB deal is going great so far and we are finding more and more out about the car. It's awesome to have Jayden just a phone call away offering us advise.

Opening night

First night out was awesome!, It was a small field but had a lot of fun and had some wicked battles with Brad Rosewarne

We were stoked to win the trophy challenge first night out in the new car credit to Jayden and this WarD car!

Next meeting for us is fireworks at Woodford Glen this weekend

So here it is, Ward Engineering chassis number 2, and man, has this thing come up good.

I am truly grateful to Malcolm Ngatai who has made this deal happen for me along with Jayden Ward. I can't thank you enough.

After another massive few weeks at Transform Graphics getting everyone else's cars done, as was the case last year, 4c finally got some love & rolled out of the workshop today!

A huge thanks to my workmates, Bailey Patterson (B-Rabbit) & Patrick Morris for the massive hours they put in the last few nights and today, the best applicators in town for sure. And thank you Daniel Lamb for allowing us the time to do this.

So many more people to thank for their help the last few weeks, Shane Thian & Fraser Lang to name couple who chipped in last minute to help us out. Thank you to everyone else who has helped, you know who you are.

A huge thanks also to Tom Hughes from HRB for getting us back on track with our new HRB Toyota, man this thing sounds good.

First practice in our new WarD chassis, Hughes Race Built Toyota.

A heap of people to thank soon, but super happy with how its come out. Feeling very fortunate and grateful toward some awesome people and sponsors.

4C has been sold and it's great to see it staying in ChCh!

We ran this car for three seasons and had some great results. It's been an awesome car and we wish the new owner the best of luck.

Unfortunately, the last time it was on track, we lost the engine and although Tom at HRB did his best to get us back running before the end of the season, unfortunately there was a hold up on parts arriving so that was us done for the year.

Looking ahead to this coming season, we are looking forward to getting our new Hughes Race Built Toyota into its new home and can't wait to get behind the wheel of WarD Engineering chassis number 2.

Our HRB Toyota is back up with Tom and the team at Hughes Race Built to work their magic with the aim to have 4C on track for Battle of the Stocks. It's going to be close, but we'll be working hard to make it, thats for sure. We can't thank Tom enough for his support.

A massive thanks to H Robb for his help getting the engine out & Dylan at Robb Race Cars & Repairs RRR for letting us use his workshop. Couldn't do it without you!

The 4c team have been blown away with offers of help from so many cool people, our team sponsors and more. You know who you all are, we truly appreciate your offers and support. This sport is damn awesome at times!

See ya north Island.

The sport we all love sure knows how to deliver awesome highs, and devastating lows.

We were over the moon to qualify and genuinely went in to the finals with no high expectations, Braydo was simply satisfied and thrilled to be racing with the best of the best for the title of NZ SuperStock Champion.

Heat one had us start from grid 23, and 4c felt awesome. We had worked our way up to 7th place and without warning the engine exploded.

We know we aren't the first, and won't be the last to experience this, but our small team are devastated. As many will know, Braydo has worked hard to achieve his dream of owning racing a SuperStock, so this is a hard one to swallow.

But, we will be back, that's for sure!

A huge thanks to my team, friends and family for your support, it means the world to be surrounded with good people.

And of course, as I've always said, this whole deal wouldn't be possible without our awesome sponsors. Some of these people have been with me from the start way back to the mighty 4c Toyota Starlet youth Saloon!

Unfortunately, things just didn't go our way last night. We struggled to get going in the first heat, finishing 13th, which just isn't enough in a top field.

Our next two heats resulted in DNF's with a right rear flat in heat two and a right front flat in our last heat.

However, we showed really good pace when we got going in, heats two and three, so we're pretty happy with where we are at heading into the NZ Champs.

Obviously, we didn't make the Repechage, so we've decided to park 4c up and save it for Wellington next weekend.

As some may have heard, we also had a pretty bad run with trailer damage on our way up. If it wasn't for some awesome people who helped us out, we probably wouldn't have even made it to Stratford.

So huge thanks to Jayden Ward, Darrel Wallace, for their help, Martin Halcrow for some parts, and Broadway Auto Electrical, who support Hunter Deridder for getting our electric brakes sorted.

Thanks also to the Uhlenbergs for putting the 4c team up, opening up their home, and workshop. Absolutely the best people who are always fun to be around.

Let's hope for better luck heading to Wellington!
