Get back to your roots!! We are putting on the Northern state of origin match again this year after a successful year last year. Players ageing out of U18/senior boys or schoolboy rugby come along and play a game with others, this is for any players from the regions of Hurunui or Cheviot-Glenmark clubs, come along and catch up with old mates you haven’t seen for a bit or if you interested in playing Northern colts next year. Fun game to finish the year off and look to next year and start razing funds for the next pre season Aussie trip. Contact the page or any player you know from the team or drop me a message 021384794

Very proud club moment to hear news of our year 7/8 team winning the “spirit of rugby” at the global games in Queenstown chosen out of 56 teams.

To win this award for our boys attitude towards themselves, the opposition and the referees in each game is a huge credit to them.

In what some would call our “David vs Goliath” games due the the shear size difference in all of there games this is huge credit to them. Being almost all a year younger than every other team in there comp was an amazing effort to keep the games so close.

The boys had 5 tough games with the toughest result losing 35-0 against the eventual winners of the competition and there best result being in there last game where they went down 15-5 in a real tight battle.

Amazing trip and opportunity for our boys that they won’t forget anytime soon and some very proud parents.

Day 1 Recap 🏈🗻

The boys had an epic day down in Qtown yesterday,

Held their heads high competing in a full Year 8 grade,

Went down in both games, but they played with so much grit, determination and skill!

Some of our Year 4s and 5s played for “North” displaying so awesome plays,

Super proud of these groups, on to day 2 today 🎉
