It’s been a recovery week or so. Few blow outs in between, couple of animals partied like pigs and got carried away, was hot.

They have guaranteed those in charge they are still fricken good for it, as we jump on the G train to the long bridge of Rakaia for the quarter final. Siiiiick.

Div 1 job is on. They are laser focussed. Heck you should have seen training it went for an hour 10. Nothing like extras for a big week.

REMINDER: game is at 1:45pm.

Div 2 who are really starting to gel. Nothing like bonding over a dart and a beer before training to warm up. These sick puppies did shuttles. Jonty Dalzell leading the charge, on and off the field I might add is wanting big things this weekend.

Game: 2:30pm at Amberley.

Colts take on Ashley at 1pm in Culverden.

Join us as the Glenmark Cheviot Div 1 side heads south to take on Rakaia in the quarter-final of the Luisetti Seeds Premier Men's Combined Country Competition.

It's shaping up to be a blockbuster clash that you won't want to miss.

Trip Details:
🕥 Bus Depart Amberley Super Liquor – 10am sharp
🕚 Alternative pick-up: Z Sawyers Arms Road – 10.30am
🏉 Kick-off: 1:45pm in Rakaia

With a couple of cheeky stops planned on the way home, we'll have you safely back in Amberley by approximately 9.30pm.

Get amongst it, support the lads, and be part of what promises to be a great day out! 💙💛🖤

Does any body feel freaken glorious this week?

Last week the sun shone a beautiful ray of light down on the G and produced a wonderful performance down south. Zuppy was so stoked with the performance, he managed the shoey rhino double. Was kinda mint.

We regroup and we go again.

Rugby is back at Cheviot. First time since the horse sh****ng comp.

The spirit of the 1’s can hardly be contained as they take on Waihora. It’s wetland vs dry land, well kind of. As they cross the Mak to North Canterbury’s favourite town and play at Magpie Stadium. How ironic.

The 2’s play the men from the foot of the mountains in Oxford at 1pm. Word of the street on the foothills of the Blyth Valley, is there are a couple of old sickos sticking their noses in the trough. Sam Greenwood leading the charge on this one, oink oink Sammy.

Colts take on Ohoka in Culverden at 1pm.

Welcome to another round of footy.

Div 1 head south to Hinds to take on Southern. The fellas are struck by injuries. But we box on.

Pretty quiet week for the boys, some would say they are focussed. Ferg Fairbairn has gone walk about, locator beacons have been sent to the Scargill valley to detect cigarette smoke. He is yet to be located.

Div 2 take on the Hogs in Culverden. The fellas have been stuck for numbers this week. Their could’ve a few come out of retirement to get a team.

It hasn’t helped that star Fly Half Gareth Turnock, has gone to Dunedin to see his girlfriend… don’t scratch your eyes ladies and gentlemen, you read that correctly. Love in 2026 hits different.

Colts are playing Kaiapoi in Kaiapoi at 1pm.
