Meet our next Caro Bowl player: Ethan Ning.

Ethan has already made his mark on the school tennis scene, winning the U16 Boys Singles at the Auckland Secondary Schools Tennis Championships and helping his school win the NZ Secondary Schools Tennis Cup in 2025.

But away from the court, his favourite subject is physics.

His own review of that fun fact? A bit lame. His defence? “Life’s pretty boring during high school.”

We reckon working out the physics of a perfect serve sounds pretty useful to us!

Welcome to the Caro Bowl spotlight, Ethan. We’re looking forward to seeing you out on court for Royal Oak.

Emma and her sister Mia are joining Royal Oak for November’s Caro Bowl season, so keep an eye out for them training with Peter Simpson.

A little bit of history: Peter first started coaching Emma when she was just 11 years old!

We’re looking forward to having both sisters representing Royal Oak this season.
