We want you!

Come along to a fishing seminar with a difference — where the people in the audience become the experts.

We’re inviting attendees to share 5–10 minutes of their favourite fishing tips, techniques, experiences, stories or secrets.

Whether it’s finding the best spots, choosing the right bait, reading the conditions, landing the big one — or simply a clever trick you’ve learned along the way — we want to hear it!

After all, who better to speak at a fishing seminar than the people who are actually out there doing the fishing? 🎣

🎶 Meet Alex – a fresh new voice on the NZ music scene!

Hailing from the South West of Scotland, Alex picked up her first guitar at just 12 and performed her first solo gig at 15. Influenced by artists such as Alanis Morissette and Laura Marling, alongside her love of country music, Alex began writing her own songs in her early teens.

Now making her mark here in New Zealand, Alex brings a unique blend of heartfelt songwriting, country influences and raw emotion to the stage.

Her music will take you on a journey — you’ll be encouraged to feel your feelings, sing along and connect with every note. 🖤

After years of entertaining family, friends, and private gatherings, Rowan is excited to share his music with the wider community while supporting this fantastic fundraiser. Rowan has progressed to the Academy of Open Mic / Jam Night Awards at the MCC and brings real talent to the stage for Boots n Blues.
